Support / States Quiz
« on: February 27, 2019, 01:58:16 pm »Message ID: 1263663
Are you refusing to credit me just because I had to start the quiz over after I clicked on the wrong link/button in the window for that quiz?

Off-Topic / Adding Security Cameras to Apps and Site
« on: February 21, 2019, 03:10:02 am »Message ID: 1262646
There come times when somebody phishes somebody else’s online account(s) or even starts an account and pretends to be somebody else. I want every mobile app and site to include a security camera so that whoever owns or starts an account can show a valid ID and that the site or app can make sure the account only reacts to whomever is supposed to use it. How do you suppose that will be possible?

Off-Topic / Trick Questions on Exams in School
« on: February 06, 2019, 01:56:30 pm »Message ID: 1260569
Have you ever taken a test in any school that had at least one trick question (but not nothing but that type for every question)? I remember a time when a question on a test I took had a multiple choice question that asked, “Which of the following statements is false?” The correct answer was none of them (and I’m not sure if that was an option).

Support / How Exactly Do You Get Video Offers?
« on: February 05, 2019, 11:41:31 pm »Message ID: 1260453
I am asking because there have not been enough since hyprMX offers ran out of availability (at least in general) in August of 2018. Can you look into keeping up with any new video offers that would not take too long to do and have a not so limited availability?

Off-Topic / Do You Still Believe the Groundhog Day Saying?
« on: February 02, 2019, 12:10:05 am »Message ID: 1259608
I decided to start a discussion like this because it’s Groundhog Day now (as of this post). As I used to hear/read, winter would last six (6) more weeks in the Northern Hemisphere if a groundhog saw its shadow. I now think of that as a silly superstition. How can a groundhog predict early spring or six (6) more weeks of winter?

Off-Topic / Do You Stay in (or at Least Close to) Your Country?
« on: January 11, 2019, 07:41:35 am »Message ID: 1256292
I sometimes have had a desire to travel to anywhere outside of North America but doubted my being able to. It turns out I was right. I can’t go anywhere outside of the USA and Canada because somebody needs blood in my country (the USA) every other second, only a tiny percentage of those eligible to give blood in my country actually do so, and if I leave North America above Mexico, the American Red Cross has to make me wait 1-3 years to give blood. Yes, it might sound sad, but it’s part of my law of nature.

Off-Topic / Do You Collect a Particular Type of Apparel?
« on: January 04, 2019, 09:36:41 am »Message ID: 1255056
By that, I mean clothing or any other wearable accessories with any of the same/similar characters or that say any movie or TV show titles. I’m thinking about collecting Back to the Future apparel because people love my sweatshirt with an image of that movie’s poster.

Off-Topic / How Often Do You Replace Your Mattress on Average?
« on: January 04, 2019, 06:00:14 am »Message ID: 1255029
I just want to ask because the mattress I still have now is getting worn out (I’ve had it for about fourteen years now.).

Off-Topic / Wrapping Gifts after Christmas
« on: December 23, 2018, 06:09:49 pm »Message ID: 1253056
Has there ever come a time when you haven't/hadn't been able to wrap any gifts until after Christmas Day (i.e., if you celebrate Christmas)? Because of a conflict with understanding a gift idea for my father, what I ordered him won't get delivered to me until after Christmas Day, so I won't be able to wrap it by a rather usual time.

Off-Topic / Apples or Pears?
« on: December 10, 2018, 07:00:47 pm »Message ID: 1251190
A “Fries or Onion Rings” discussion got started, so I thought about introducing a similar topic (but about foods more heathful). Which pome fruit(s) do you like better? I’ll say pears for now.

I couldn’t because I was and still am already too fat!

Off-Topic / Do You Do (or At Least Have You Done) Deeds for a Public Television Station?
« on: November 03, 2018, 09:49:10 pm »Message ID: 1245538
I volunteer every now and then at my most local PBS station by taking phone calls for pledges and auctions. What about you?

Off-Topic / What Word(s) Do You Consider Strong Besides Swear Words?
« on: October 17, 2018, 09:46:04 pm »Message ID: 1243034
I would say, “brat,” “hate,” “scream,” “slap,” “shut up,” “stupid,” and “wicked.”

Off-Topic / Material for Making Buildings Survive a Quake, Storm, Etc.
« on: October 09, 2018, 03:48:16 pm »Message ID: 1241914
Can you imagine any public building or private residence made of any matter strong enough to keep from collapsing from a hurricane, storm, or quake? I sometimes think of that because of the severe damage that bad weather does. The only disadvantage would be that the building would probably be close to impossible to tear down when nobody has lived or worked there for a while because whatever the building would be made of could hardly break if at all!

Off-Topic / Is Columbus Day Deeply Observed in Your Current Area of Residence?
« on: October 07, 2018, 08:40:21 pm »Message ID: 1241633
Based on your occupation(s) and/or where in the USA you currently live/work (if applicable), do you get Columbus Day off from your usual routine(s)?  The day (meaning Columbus Day) is not counted as a holiday for every school district in America. Because I grew up in Madison, WI, USA, I never had Columbus Day as a day-off from school.
