I know amazon is saying they are delivering essential items first and other stuff will be delayed, but lately the stuff I have been ordering from them has arrived in one day. I bought a $3 book of mazes for my granddaughter and it took only 24 hours to arrive, which shocked me, because it was such a small, nonessential order,

I think numbers 2 and 3 are nice easy let-downs. They aren't insulting like 4 is and they contain a little praise for the other person as well.

That is really sad about Chadwick Boseman. He was such a great role model, especially for little kids. They said he visited kids with cancer in the hospital even while he himself was undergoing treatment for cancer. What a special guy he was.

The last time I visited my doctor, she told me I was pre-diabetic and that I had better lose weight so I would not get full-blown diabetes. I have been able to lose about 10 pounds so far and am looking forward to her testing me again to see if that helped the situation at all.

Wow! Your ziti sounds absolutely delicious! Save me a piece! The last time I made ziti was around 20 years ago. I remember layering the ziti pasta, ricotta and grated mozzarella. It was yummy.

I definitely am a bookworm. I am a member of three book clubs so I have to read at least three books a month to keep up with them. Sometimes I read four or five.

I only use Facebook a little bit to keep up with what my family members are doing as well as some old friends from high school. That takes maybe 5 minutes a day.

My daughter is paying $17 an hour for child care for her two kids and she can afford it only because both she and her husband work and they have good jobs. They were paying for a nanny to come to their home from 8-5 every weekday but had to pay taxes and Social security on top of that but now they find it will be a lot cheaper to have an au pair live with them in their home so they are going that route now.

I usually just say "I'll let you go now - thanks for calling!" and that does the trick. You could also say you have to use the bathroom or check on something you are cooking.

I agree with you. I wouldn't go to a casino either even if everybody wore masks and socially distanced. There are always crazies around who don't do either one and it is just my luck to get COVID from one of them.

I wouldn't go to a concert or sporting event even if everyone did wear masks. It is just too risky. The only time I don't wear a mask outside of the house is when I go on a daily walk and even then, I cross the street when I see someone coming in my direction.

Thanks for the tips about Peacock. I have Amazon Prime and have enjoyed many hours of movies and TV shows on that. I like being able to access just about any movie I would want to see, even though some of them charge a fee.

I usually like to wear a simple necklace when wearing a plain colored top, but I rarely wear bracelets or earrings.
