I read something in my book and thought about you. It says to always add the yeast last and to not let the yeast come in to contact with any liquid. I did not know that. The pretzel recipe I found on Pinterest said to mix the yeast with the water. My bread book that I got with this machine says do not ever do that and it will mess up the consistency of the bread. It says dig a small hole in the flour and put the yeast there.
I always add my yeast to warmed sugar water.
Id think the water way makes the yeast start faster. And therefor it would be a quick cooking bread.
So breads you bake longer you just add dry yeast, so it wont rise as fast and be denser
Im only guessing here, those who bake bread would probably know.
Let us know what you decide to make, and how it turned out
