Unfortunately I was not able to use it yet, we are in the midst of a mini-hurricane in Oregon so I am staying home.
LOL! I was just about to ask you what you ordered off of their menu!  My daughter works for an Applebee's in Florida.  Prior to that she worked for the one in town here and we dined there often.  Now that she is out of state, we don't go as often as we used to.

Off-Topic / Re: Passwords
« on: October 17, 2016, 07:15:45 am »Message ID: 1099329
Like others have suggested, I have a master password list in an Excel spreadsheet (that is ALSO password protected).  Many of my passwords are also saved in my Chrome browser, but there are times when that fails.  I keep my master file accessible through my phone so I can have my logins when I am at another computer.  Many of my passwords are a variation of each other, but I am slowly changing them to all be something unique with upper and lowercase letters, digits, and special characters. You can never be too careful with all of the security breaches out there.  I have an app on my phone which generates random passwords from 1-128 characters, so I now use that whenever I want to create a new password and I keep track in my spreadsheet file the date I last updated each password.

That's correct.  If you're on a computer you can hover your mouse over the acronym and you'll get a definition, too.

Didn't know that.  Thanks given to both you and ladavia!

Support / PII Required?

Every now and then, I see a survey in the list of those available with a designation "PII required." I should probably know, but cannot figure it out.  I know that pi is 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399 and so forth... (Okay I only knew it to 3.1415 and had to look up the rest, please don't hold that against me). But what is pii?

if you choose the correct answer you will receive a $0.01 credit.

Just to clarify, are you saying you try to pick the answer out of a series of pre-determined multiple choice responses that will be the most popular from everyone else responding in the poll?

Suggestions / Re: Adding to the Forums - "A newbie area"
« on: October 14, 2016, 07:04:23 am »Message ID: 1098813
I think the biggest problem with this idea (a good idea in principle for overall organizational purposes) is that many newbies would not necessarily think, know, or realize to post in a newbie forum/folder.  Many newbies would still just post a question in whatever forum they find themselves reading.  Remember that the primary characteristic of being a newbie is that you are new to the site and probably not fully familiar and comfortable with all of the site's pages and links.

I think it is important for FC veterans to assist the newbs whenever possible, but when there are already support and suggestion folders to post in, adding a newbie folder would just cause even more overlap and cross-posting.

I guess there isn't much more that can be said that hasn't been said already.  But I'll try anyway!

Gift cards are wonderful, and I love Amazon cards where I just login to my account and apply new Amazon GCs to my running credit balance.  Anytime I need to buy a gift or more cat food (we buy a brand only available online), I go to Amazon and usually have more than enough credit available to make my purchase.

But I only get Amazon GCs from sites/apps that do not offer a cash option.  I can buy just about any product from Amazon, but like any other gift card, it is only good at that one site/store.  On the other hand, cash literally is king everywhere.

The only time I would EVER pick a gift card over cash would be a situation where a site/app awards points rather than a straight dollar amount and the trade in value for the points varies depending on the cash out option.  If my 5000 points gets me a $5.00 gift card vs. a $4.50 cash option, I'm getting the gift card - no brainer.

As far as FC is concerned, the cash only option is 100% fine by me!

After posting this, opening yet another support ticket and contacting the BBB I recieved an email saying to expect my payout... we'll see how this plays out.. Also close to another redemption, at about $74.11 now.

I'm going to make a guess here and assume that you DID get your payment a couple days ago.  I guess/know this because I just got a $5.00 referral cash out bonus a few days ago from one of my recent referrals who happens to be YOU!

So I will make a few observations. You have now seen that FC IS legit and that they DO pay, so first and foremost - stick with it!!! But understand that it definitely would be a red (or at least a yellow) flag for FC to see a new member get over 300 referrals that quickly, when many users have been around here for years without getting any referrals.  That's not to say that you are doing anything illegitimate, but just that they need to look into it more closely to be sure due to the unreasonably high volume.  There are users who create fake referrals to try to game the system.  (They are usually quickly discovered and terminated from the system).  Every fake referral can cause irreparable damage to FC due to a false payout.  If FC had a sudden influx of fake users who trigger an equal number of improper payouts to their referring user, FC could implode.

I have a few hundred referrals myself (including you), but FAR LESS than you have achieved in such a short time.  I have had several (maybe a few dozen) that FC has later rejected and reversed any bonuses awarded to me.  Some were probably using public WiFi or shared a common Internet connection with other users; some may have been international sign ups... I really don't know the specific reasons why particular referrals are revoked.  But I welcome those reversals if a particular referral doesn't qualify, or has broken the rules, or has in some other way negatively impacted FC.  Because I want FC to remain profitable and continue giving me the opportunity to earn money!

So theigshaderoom, I hope you haven't soured on FC. Now that you've been paid, I hope you will continue to earn, generate more legitimate referrals, and continue to spread the word!  Just keep in mind that your dramatic and quick start was very much outside of the norm.

Make sure you come back to the forum often and take advantage of the $3.00 monthly bonus. It doesn't sound like you need it, but ask around if you want any other tips on maximizing your FC earnings!

Support / Re: Inbox Dollar's - A survey company?
« on: October 13, 2016, 09:54:46 am »Message ID: 1098686
I've been using Inbox Dollars for almost five years.  In that time, I haven't made NEARLY the same as I have made in just over a year on Fusion Cash; but Inbox IS legit.  I rarely do their surveys and I no longer get the daily emails (not sure why).  I mostly just do occasional searches and my balance grows slowly over time.  I then always go on a survey binge over there once I hit the minimum $30 cash out mark because they always run a deal where if you earn an extra $10 over one month they then waive the $3 processing fee they charge for cash outs.  In fact, I am in the home stretch RIGHT NOW for one of those $10 survey binges.  Most of their surveys are only 25 - 50¢ and they are usually tough to qualify for - which is why I don't normally put in the effort.  My time is better spent at FC!

Earlier today I was doing a simple survey at Inbox which would have put me over the top of my additional $10 goal. I got to the end and was denied payment for rushing through.  I'll admit I was excited at the prospect of being done with my binge, but the entire survey was very simple and easy to read and answer.  *I* know that all of my answers were legitimately and truthfully given and that I read all of the questions and multiple choice responses, but I guess finishing a 10 minute survey in 8 minutes was flagged.   :-\

All in all Inbox is worth a cash out about every 15 - 18 months for me.  Hardly seems worth it, but it IS slow and STEADY earning with absolute minimal effort...

I am a little bit upset (okay a LOT upset) about the recent leaks revealing Hillary's inner circle and their insult of Catholics. So half of Trump's supporters are deplorables and the nation's Catholics are obviously part of that "basket"...

You could become incredibly famous if you were elected President of the United States.  If you are incredibly smart, you can't do much worse than the choices we currently have.  But I think it is too late to toss you hat into the ring at this point.  There's always 2020!

I did a double take when I first read the joke and figured out the incorrect line, but I also figured that there must be a double play on the words that I just wasn't alert enough to catch.  Still can't figure one out, so you must be right.
