Offers / Video: PoLLFish
« on: July 16, 2019, 02:24:44 pm »Message ID: 1284523
This appeared in my videos today so I'm just wondering if anybody else got it?  I know I've completed one of these many moons ago so it was a pleasant surprise to find it today.  It is such a quick survey that makes however much it states it will pay well worth it.  Easy peasy.

But if you fail the survey, it's still cute:

                                         Tough luck
You were not eligible for that survey, so no catnip for you

Offers / Quiz Diva - Finish the Lyrics (4¢)
« on: May 22, 2019, 03:22:22 pm »Message ID: 1276451
I did it!  Scored 100%, but only because I allowed myself the time to be accurate since I know how these "Diva" quizzes can drive one crazy.  This quiz is a list of 25 excerpts in which partial lyrics are provided for you.  You just need to select the correct word among multiple answers to fill in the blank.  It's really not that bad.  I scored 68% the first time, but don't let that scare you away from doing it.

This offer, paying 4¢, is the Pop Edition.  I guess there must be two "Finish the Lyrics" Diva Quiz offers because I still see one that pays 3¢, but I've never clicked it.

Go for it if you see it!

Offers / Video: Quiz Diva - spot the different kitten
« on: January 18, 2019, 05:45:20 pm »Message ID: 1257522
I found this video for the first time on Wednesday (after midnight).  It apparently pays 24¢ if you get 100% on the quiz.  I tried it and scored 70%.  No credit for me this first time, but it is one of those type of quizzes you have to get a perfect score.  It's a series of a group of four "identical" pictures of kittens, but you must find the one and only picture that is different in some way from the other three.

Has anyone run across this video yet?  Have you tried the quiz?

Offers / Entertainment Survey (movie trailers)
« on: September 21, 2018, 01:46:09 pm »Message ID: 1238627
How many members have successfully completed these surveys?  I'm curious because I usually enjoy them, however, they can sometimes go on too long.  Typically, they pay a little better than the run-of-the-mill surveys offered.  Today I got one and the trailer to review would not load (I tried reopening in a different browser, too).  This trailer was in rough form to begin with.  Too bad -- lost it.  :(

What is your experience with these?

Off-Topic / Today is National Hot Dog Day (7-18) and you don't have to go to Coney Island!
« on: July 18, 2018, 03:02:47 pm »Message ID: 1228183
Just when you thought you were 'over' Joey Chestnut's incredible 74-hot-dogs-in-10-minutes feat to win the coveted Mustard Belt on the boardwalk of Nathan's Coney Island location on the 4th of July, it's here!  It's National Hot Dog Day!

🌭🌭  Are you going to celebrate??  Love 'em or leave 'em?? 🌭🌭

Whichever...don't miss deals like ~ 7-11's Big Bite for $1.  Philly Pretzel Factory has a $1 pretzel dog.  If you know where Dog Haus is and download the app you get a free Haus Dog.  Sonic has $1 Chili Cheese or All American hot dogs today only, but limit you to 5.  Meijer's offers a free hot dog available at Meijer Gas Stations when the special mPerks offer is clipped.  Pilot Flying J offers a coupon for a free dog with the myPilot app. 🌭🌭🌭🌭🌭

Off-Topic / Today (7/11/18) is 7-Eleven's 91st birthday, but it's giving away the presents
« on: July 11, 2018, 01:49:35 pm »Message ID: 1227136
Yep!  On 7/11 the 7-Eleven convenience stores give away free small Slurpees, the iconic frozen drink introduced in 1965.  It's going on now (11:00am to 7:00pm), but don't procrastinate because the Slurpee machine may run dry before 7:00 pm.

I like to get the word out because the original 7-Eleven store started out as a frame ice house storefront where Johnny Green could supply the neighborhood with a 25-pound block of ice for 11¢ back in 1927 at convenient hours as well as a few staples like milk, cheese and bread.  It became the site of the original 7-11; the building is still located across the street from my junior high school.  After I graduated from college my first job was at its headquarters, then known as The Southland Corporation, and run by the Thompson family.

Enjoy and slurp away!
