Off-Topic / When do you start decorating for Halloween?

Autumn & Halloween is my favorite time I look forward to all year so I always get excited very early. I have a rule not to begin decorating before October 1, that's the best I can do to keep myself semi-reasonable (although nobody can stop me from being in the mental pre-planning phase nearly all year!). Do you decorate, and when?

For the first time in a while there's actually (sometimes) a video in the video section! For me it has been playing the little red riding hood whooping cough ad every time. Are we all seeing that?

I find if I listen to music that I like while working, I will soon associate it with the stress of work.

So I usually seek out non-music things, for instance nature sound effects. Youtube has an amazing variety of ambiance settings that people create. The creaking of a ship at sea, a thunderstorm, all sorts of things.

Off-Topic / Southwest monsoon storm damage

We finally got our first big round of monsoon thunderstorms through phoenix last night. Some of the most frequent lightning I've seen and severe wind that shredded my vegetable garden and blew up a couple of transformers, power was out for a while but thank God no major damage. Forecast says another round is due within 48 hours. Anyone else nearby in the southwest getting this storm system?

Offers / SSI surveys not completing/crediting

Just tried a 5 minute of those SSI surveys, completed all the questions til I could tell it was the end of the survey, and instead of paying it dumped me right into qualifying questions for a different 25 minute survey! I don't think that's the first time that's happened with SSI, are those sketchy for anybody else?

So they changed video labs to the kind you have to run on your phone, I'm not going to bother, it's a bit of a hassle on a little screen and I don't want to run down my battery like that. I hope they put the desktop version back sometime.

What kind do you like better?

Off-Topic / Vegetable gardeners, what will you plant?

I like to grow squash every spring because it's so easy, and I'm digging some new garden beds to make more room for a pumpkin patch this summer. I'm also going to try to grow a few stalks of corn just because I like how they look dried and tied in bundles at harvest time. Finally I wasn't planning on garlic but some scraps volunteered in my compost heap so I moved them to a bucket. 

What veggies will you be planting this spring/summer?

Is it just me, or is everything under the Video tab lately just "share this on social media" tasks (which only credit like half the time)? I haven't seen an actual video, or even a carousel in a while.

Support / Daily email ad doesn't load

I notice some days when I go to the link in the daily email, the addoesn't load so there's nothing to click and I lose my 2cents for the day. Anybody else seeing that? The rest of the page loads normally, just no ad.

Suggestions / Stating survey requirements before you start

Is there a way for system requirements to be labelled on the survey page before you start one?

Just a thought, as I have put in 10 minutes into surveys multiple times this week only to reach a step where it says "close this tab and log back into this survey on a different browser" which is laughable. If you can even get to the same survey, it has no memory of your progress, so that is a bit frustrating.

Bit of a random place to ask but why not - any gardeners around here? This is my third year trying to grow a halloween pumpkin in my backyard. It's very hot where I live so I'm having a tough time but I really enjoy it. I'd enjoy hearing any pumpkin advice or experience
