I don't understand how people can do this.  It has never crossed my mind to go and take something that belongs to someone else.  I'll never understand that mentality, and I think that people who steal without having a second thought about it should be evaluated for some kind of mental disorder.

I don't know what brand it is, but my wife's grandparents buy TP from Costco and it is the best TP on the planet. If I can find out what it is, I'll come back on here and let you know the name.  A good TP is a good life.

Thanks everyone for responding.  Just as an update, I trimmed the cats hair again at the beginning of this post and have let her stay outside for a longer duration each day.  Since then, she has not thrown up.

What are you thoughts on being politically correct?  Should schools teach it to the students?

There are people or companies that you can follow on instagram that let you know of really cheap flights to different places around the world.  Right now I can't think of the name, but one of my coworkers follow them, so I will find out and let you know who they are and how to follow them.

Off-Topic / Disney Cancelling Partnership with Netflix

I just found out that Disney will be pulling its content off of Netflix and starting their own streaming services by 2019.  For me this is a little frustrating because now I am going to have to pay for two services instead of one.

How do you all feel about Disney's decision?  Will you subscribe to Disney's services and Netflix?

If people want to change their bodies, that's their choice, but I think that tax payer dollars should be focused on benefiting the country as a whole instead on an individual by individual basis.  I also want the soldiers to be focused on defending the country and anything that would distract from that would concern me.

It's no secret that it's summer and it's been too bleepin hot in Utah.  What's your favorite cold treat in the summer time?

I need a little bit of Praline and Caramel ice cream.

Your turn.

Go.

Hi SherryinUtah, I'm Chris in Utah!  This is a great post because someone just told me about a recipe call "Oreo Crackballs."

What you do is take an entire package of Oreos and smash them up real good.  Then, you add and entire pack of softened Philadelphia cream cheese in and then mix that up really good.  Afterwards, you place that mixture in the fridge for about an hour or 2.

Once the mixture has chilled, take them out of the fridge, and with two spoons, make the mixture into *bleep* and dip them into melted fondue chocolate.  Place them on a cookie sheet that has been greesed with butter, then put them back in the fridge to chill overnight.

Then enjoy the magic!

Salt Lake City has been perfect all day and is just starting to rain right now as it is getting dark.  Basically, it has been a perfect day!

Off-Topic / Re: What are Your Personal Investing Strategies?
« on: August 09, 2017, 08:11:32 pm »Message ID: 1160434
I had acorns on my phone for a day. I had to start with $20 and after the first day almost half was gone. I took the rest back and deleted the app.
I have an etrade account but not doing very well at all. I just have no idea what to do or what to buy.

Well, the thing about stocks is that it's a long term game. You have to do research if you really wanna get down to the nitty gritty. One reason I choose to not invest is that I feel like I'm gambling my money and that's not ok with me. Another reason is that I am too particular with my money and budgeting (CPA and Financial Advisor... too hard to change my ways), and I could not just put money in and leave it to go up, down, sideways, all around the world, etc. I watch everything. I check my bank accounts every day. I have 5 different apps/websites to check my credit score on a rotation(can only update every 7 days on the ones I use). So, investing isn't for me and it's not for everyone. Check into the saving account that i talked about earlier in this post, it's a start to somewhere(:

I am also a CPA which makes it hard because like you I check all of my accounts multiple times a week and even a day. That being said, I got into accounting to understand the details of balance sheets and income statements so I could make better investing decisions.  I have a 401(k), and HSA, multiple savings account, and a stock portfolio.  Right now I put in 4% of each paycheck with and annual increase of 1% up to 10%, I invest $20 a month in the stock market, my company puts in $250 a month into my HSA, and I try to save a little every month as well.

I do like the idea of the savings account that you described though, so I will have to check that out.  Thanks for you post!

Id take her back to the vet and have them peform an xray on her stomach to see if all the hair she probably lapped up fully got out and is n't stuck in her stomach

Does that actually happen?  If she does have hair still in her stomach, how do they get it out?  Do they have to do surgery? If so, I just can't afford to put more money into the cat.  I like her, but I can't go broke over her.  Is there something that you all have used that gets it cleaned out really good?

I have great in-laws, but my wife is from Alaska, so I don't get to see them very much.  I do love to hear a good "bad" in-law story though.  Does anyone on here have one that they want to share.  My wife's friend has horror stories, so once we get a few post on here, I will share a few.

I have never gotten into the WWE stuff, and honestly, I don't know if I can. I am curious what it is that everyone enjoys about it since it is all staged.  It isn't like MMA or boxing.  What do you like the most about it and what makes you like one person over another more?

Off-Topic / Gordan Hayward Discussion
« on: July 31, 2017, 06:00:24 pm »Message ID: 1158102
Alright, I am a huge Jazz fan, and I want to open up a discussion with other's that are basketball fans especially with either Jazz or Celtics fans.

I am definitely bummed about losing Hayward, but my question to Celtics fans is, do you think that with Hayward you now have what it takes to beat the Cavs?  I am not asking this in a condescending way, I actually want to know the general thought about the Celtics chance of winning now that they have another All-Star?

I am 32 and have two kids.  I was a little skeptical about watching it, but I finally decided to sit down and watch with them, and I actually really enjoyed it.  I thought it was really well made and had some good humor in it. I would suggest that you watch it at least once because it is worth it at least one time.
