It makes it feel like a generic brand. I think there was a better way to handle this whole situation.

It's just very ignorant.  It's basic science.  If masks didn't work why do doctors wear them?  My state mandated masks in March so everyone wears one and every store requires them so it's not even questioned now.  But it seems that some states are still not doing it and that's just stupid.

People aren't wearing the same masks as doctors. nor are they following the same safety protocols.

If the information comes from a facebook post, it is usually inaccurate.

It feels crazy to me that it is September already. Feels like the year is flying by but at the same time the days are just dragging by.

I haven't received mine for June either. This is definitely a rare thing for me.

I have been watching it. Was really missing it early in the summer without it. Just not the same.

Off-Topic / Re: Should the baseball season continue?
« on: August 02, 2020, 03:39:31 pm »Message ID: 1334369
No. With a high number of players testing positive for the corona virus it is reckless an greedy to continue. The Nationals, Brewers, Phillies, Marlins, Blue Jays and Cardinals have all cancelled games due to the virus. To continue is not only pointless and is risking lives. If allowed to continue, why not change the league name from Major League Baseball to Death Race 2020? Will the winner of the World Series come down to whoever has the most unaffected and living players? Everybody in the world is currently making sacrifices, why should the league, baseball players and fans be immune to making sacrifices? What kind of message is this sending to the public? Hello public, baseball is playing, everything is better , now go out, let your guard down and get the virus.

I don't think anyone is going to think everything is better by watching baseball games. The games are played in empty stadiums with players and coaches wearing facemasks.

I think it should go on. I don't think anyone should be forced to play, but don't feel they need to cancel the season if everyone is wanting to play.

Most of the young people nowadays are involved in computer sciences. It's the economy area with the fastest growth in the last decades. But won't this bring the end of humanity? Who's gonna feed these programmers when no one wants to be a farmer?

Not a chance. There's only so many IT jobs out there so people are going to have to do something else.

Do the boycott people have a notebook or something to keep track of all the brands they are boycotting? It seems really exhausting to get all worked up over trivial things.
