Offers / Flip and Grow rich
« on: February 15, 2010, 02:32:20 pm »Message ID: 139675
I'm having trouble with this offer. when I click on the link, i get an error saying "Peer's certificate has been revoked", and the page does not come up. Is this an obsolete offer? or is it a Firefox problem?

Off-Topic / Similar Games like Star Defender?
« on: January 27, 2010, 02:59:48 pm »Message ID: 134033
I'm not a serious PC gamer, I just like a few casual games to play occasionally. I like Star Defender, and I was wondering if there are any similar games that have the same format but are more like a war game with maybe planes instead of outer space creatures. I like using the mouse to shoot and control my ship, and trying to evade getting shot down with only being able to move side to side.

Off-Topic / Can I use Linux?
« on: December 26, 2009, 11:57:24 am »Message ID: 123192
I was wondering if I could use Linux as my OS on my computer when I do offers, and would they credit. Has anyone ever tried another OS besides Windows?

Off-Topic / Beware of Gamevance!
« on: December 22, 2009, 02:28:28 pm »Message ID: 122170
I just lost my computer to a Gamevance virus. I don't even know how it got installed on my computer, because I don't play any games there, but recently I started getting all these popup ads that said Gamevance Ads on the bottom, even though I have Firefox set to block popups. I started having a problem with Firefox freezing up after almost every click, and then one day I noticed that Gamevance was installed. I went into the Add or Remove Programs and uninstalled it, but then it said in order for the uninstall to complete the computer needed to be restarted. When I restarted it, the computer would not restart. The first Dell screen comes up, but Windows won't load. So I guess it would be cheaper to buy another laptop than try to get this one fixed, as I don't have a disc for the computer (it was used when I got it), and it is 3 years old anyway. But I just wanted to warn everybody.

Off-Topic / Winter driving in Virginia?
« on: December 16, 2009, 02:05:34 pm »Message ID: 120319
I currently live in upstate NY, and of course the weather during the winter is horrible, and often the roads are bad, so driving is difficult. I wanted to move to VA, but I was wondering how driving conditions are during the winters there. Is there a lot of ice storms, and slippery roads? I know it must be warmer there than here, but I was thinking there is a tendency more toward ice than snow there. Anybody live in VA that could tell me? Thanks.

FusionCash / New Look?
« on: December 14, 2009, 02:11:43 pm »Message ID: 119340
When I went to log into Fusion Cash today, the starting page had a whole new look to it. At first i thought I typed the address wrong, but I had done it right. I was able to log in fine, and the rest of the site looks the same. I like the new look, but it just took me off guard. I was wondering if the rest of the site will change also, or just the first page.

Offers / Best email address to use
« on: December 05, 2009, 01:40:45 pm »Message ID: 116110
I have been trying all sorts of things to get the Yes/No type offers to credit. Is there a difference between using a hotmail, gmail, or yahoo address, or some other one? I have been using gmail mostly, because it is easy to get new addresses from gmail. But I was wondering if the address you use has any bearing on whether or not the offers credit.

FusionCash / Question about You tube videos
« on: November 19, 2009, 02:43:03 pm »Message ID: 111012
I like the idea of getting referrals from making You-Tube videos. However, I was wondering what would mae people actually type out your whole referral link in the address bar, when they could just type the first part,, and then I wouldn't get credit.

FusionCash / Good free offers
« on: October 24, 2009, 12:26:30 pm »Message ID: 102422
I've noticed that Fusion Cash tends to get a lot of good free offers, the ones where you sign up for real survey sites, for example, compare to some other sites where all the free offers are those never ending Yes/No offers that never credit for me. And I've gotten into some very good sites through here, especially Consumer Opinion. It shows that FC really researches to get the best sites for us. I do wish they'd get some more trials, though.

Off-Topic / Wrong categories
« on: October 24, 2009, 12:11:07 pm »Message ID: 102415
It seems that recently a lot of people have been posting topics in the wrong categories. Like something that has nothing to do with offers is posted in the Offers category. Does Admin go through and redirect the ones that are posted in the wrong categories? Can the posters get in trouble for mis-categorizing posts?

Off-Topic / Politics at Work
« on: October 24, 2009, 11:47:16 am »Message ID: 102408
Do you discuss politics at work with your co-workers? Politics is one of my favorite topics, and I find myself starting political conversations at work. However, my coworkers don't usually like to hear it, so my conversation doesn't last very long. I find that men are usually more open to political conversations, especially about the Second Amendment, than women are. But I work mostly with women, so I'm out of luck.

Off-Topic / Favorite Site?
« on: October 22, 2009, 02:51:11 pm »Message ID: 101893
I find it interesting that on any GPT site forum, including this one, that there are a lot of people who favor that site over all otehrs, some who like the site but its not their favorite, and some who hate the site. As far as Fusion Cash goes, I fall into the second category, as I think it's a great site but I have another site that's my favorite. I was just wondering how many people (especially those who work more than one GPT site) think FC is the best, and how many fall into the second category. Also, was FC the first site you joined? I'm not sure if it was the very first site I joined, but it was one of the early ones.

Offers / Any tips for using WiFi for freebies?
« on: September 24, 2009, 02:36:37 pm »Message ID: 93225
I was wondering if anyone has any experience using a laptop at a public portal ( the library), to do the freebie offers. Since I do not have internet access at home, this is the only way I can do offers. Most trials credit well, but due to repeated scams, I would like to stay away from CC offers for a while and do freebies. But almost always the freebies never credit, even though I follow all the tips. So I figured it was because the public access IP address is not recognized. I am almost certain that no others users of this library are members of FC or other GPT sites, as I have never had any problem with any accounts being suspended for possible fraud.  I have heard of people doing offers in hotels while on vacation, or something similar.

Off-Topic / Some scams to watch out for
« on: September 23, 2009, 03:36:18 pm »Message ID: 92813
I know these offers are not on FC, but for those who also do other GPT sites, I just wanted to warn about 3 scams that I have been caught by recently: Pyur Water, Income Accelerator, and Easy tweet Profits. All free trials which turned out to be not free at all. In fact, I now have to have both debit cards hotcarded and I have to get the bank to fight the fraudulaent charges from these. So I just wanted to warn everybody.

Suggestions / Suggestion: Referral thread
« on: September 21, 2009, 03:09:38 pm »Message ID: 92077
I wish we could have a thread where we could post referral links. Other GPT sites have that, and they don't suffer from the competition. And it would be another incentive for more people to join this site, if they had a place where they could advertise their other sites. Maybe they would find out that this site is better than most of the other sites they are currently with!
