Debate & Discuss / Obama's a hypocrite
« on: October 02, 2012, 08:20:29 am »Message ID: 614938
Obama's supposed to be for the middle class, unlike Romney who supposedly favors the rich. But he is really just a hypocrite. I saw one of his ads while I was doing a survey, where he accuses Romney of wanting to raise taxes on middle class households by $2000. Really it is Obama who has already done that (actually more than $2000) with Obamacare! He can't fall back on the excuse that the healthcare taxes are fines, since the Supreme Court has ruled that it is indeed a new tax,  which falls squarely on the shoulders of the middle class, since the rich can afford the best private insurance, and certainly won't need to pay any fines or taxes. I know Romney lies as much as Obama, you can't believe a word of what most politicians say, and all the presidents are just puppets anyway, but unfortunately for our country there are too many sheeple that just blindly follow the media and still believe Obama's their savior. (Although the first time around Obama did tell the truth about a lot of his openly communist plans for the country, and people still voted for him! Americans today obviously don't care about freedom any more).

Off-Topic / Google cache
« on: September 21, 2012, 08:07:42 am »Message ID: 608321
Does anyone know how to retrieve old web pages through google cache? I wanted to view a web page that no longer exists. Is there a time limit as to how long the pages are kept? I know it's possible, because I was on another forum and someone said that they had retrieved a deleted web page that way. But I don't know how to do it.

Off-Topic / Printable Coupon Question
« on: August 24, 2012, 10:07:11 am »Message ID: 592949
I have a question that hopefully someone who uses a lot of printable coupons can answer. I usually use My points to print coupons, so that I can get points when I use them. The trouble I have is, sometimes the coupons don't scan when I get to the register, so the cashier just puts it in as a "vendor coupon." Does this mean that I won't get credit for using that coupon? Also, does anyone else have trouble with printable coupons getting accepted? Thanks.

FusionCash / Is the forum off limits too?

I'll be going on vacation next week, and I know that I can't do offers then. But can I visit the FC forums, and post things? Or will that risk getting my account banned too?

Off-Topic / Ebook covers?
« on: April 27, 2012, 09:41:11 am »Message ID: 527461
Are there any free programs to make ebook covers? I mean, the illustrations that you see all the time on clickbank and stuff, where it looks like they photographed an actual cover or box of software, but you know it is not a tangible product.

Off-Topic / This is the real racism
« on: April 27, 2012, 09:23:28 am »Message ID: 527453
There's been so much media condemnation of George Zimmerman for shooting a black teenager, even though in self defense, just because the kid was black, and they are trying to make it a "hate crime". But when a bunch of black thugs beat up a white man, and admit that "Now that's justice for Trayvon," the charge is only assault. Why is it a "hate crime" when a white shoots a black, but not a hate crime when blacks beat up and severly injure a white? This is plain racism, as well as hypocrisy. Of course, there are many similar examples, but I just happened to notice this one. Here's the internet link:
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/04/24/police-racially-charged-assault-not-probed-as-hate-crime-despite-witness-claim/?intcmp=obinsite
The people in this country really need to wake up. This whole Zimmerman case has been blown way out of proportion, and it seems like the media is doing it on purpose to start a race war. Could it be that they are looking for a catalyst to give Obama an excuse to declare martial law?

Off-Topic / Ebay sales down?
« on: April 17, 2012, 08:54:08 am »Message ID: 522224
For those of you who sell stuff on ebay, are your sales down? I've been listing a lot of my duplicate stamps and related stuff, and most of them haven't been selling. I don't expect to get a lot of money for them, since they are only duplicates, and I'm just getting rid of them so that I don't have a bunch of stuff laying around, but most of the auctions aren't even selling at all. Is it because of the economy or what? I never had this problem in the past. I even have a lot of more expensive catalog value items for very cheap prices (like I said, i'm not trying to make a profit.) It used to be these would be grabbed up in a heartbeat.
I wonder if it could be the time of day I list the items? I used to list in the evenings, but now that I work second shift, I list in the late morning, or around noon.

FusionCash / dumb question, but...
« on: March 31, 2012, 02:43:39 pm »Message ID: 513326
Ok, I know this is a really dumb question, but how do I find the videos? I thought there was a tab for it, but somehow I can't see it. I don't know if the page isn't loading correctly, or I'm looking in the wrong place, or what.

FusionCash / What Happened Saturday?

Did anyone else have trouble getting onto FC Saturday? All day long I tried, and I couldn't get on either the site or the forum. My emails didn't work, and my banners that I have on my webiste didn't work either. I was so worried that another GPT site had bit the dust!

Off-Topic / Bug repellent or sunscreen?
« on: March 17, 2012, 07:12:31 pm »Message ID: 506673
Hi,
I'll be going down to the Outer Banks in May, and I had a question. They say that the mosquitos can be bad at some times of the year (I don't know how they'll be in May), so I am planning on bringing bug repellent. But I am also not sure if the weather will be warm, so I wanted to make sure I had sunscreen as well, in case I need it. My question is, what if I need both? Can I wear both at once, or would they react with each other? I'm not used to using either, so I don't know what people usually do.

Off-Topic / Help with website please
« on: January 21, 2012, 07:21:50 pm »Message ID: 478684
I'm working on a website, and I have it mostly complete, but i have a problem. When I try to add Amazon widget codes, they don't work. I'm not familiar with HTML, and so I use the "Add Hyperlink" button in the WYSIWYG editor. I'm using RV Sitebuilder, which I don't like, but it's better than the generic sitebuilder that came with the hosting. Usually, I can get code to work by switching from the "Design" view to the "source" view, and paste the code directly in the html editor, but for some reason in RV Sitebuilder, it doesn't give the ability to paste. I can't get any of the widgets I've tried to show up. I think the code from Amazon must be wrong or something, or maybe it's just too long for the "Add Hyperlink" button to handle.

Off-Topic / Sending money instantly online
« on: January 21, 2012, 03:45:48 pm »Message ID: 478613
Can anyone help me please? I've been trying to send someone some money online, not with Paypal, but nothing I try works. I tried Western Union, and they denied me, then I tried sending he money through a Netspend Instant bank transfer invitation, and they denied me also. My debit card is valid and has enough funds, so I don't know why they are giving me such a hard time. I tried calling both places, and they just give me some off the wall answer that doesn't make any sense. So are there any other options?

Off-Topic / Any musicians that can help me?
« on: November 29, 2011, 11:13:25 pm »Message ID: 453282
I really like the arrangement of Lady Antebellum's song "American Honey." I was wondering what instruments are used. It seems like there's not a lot of percussion like many songs, so that the lyrics don't get overpowered. Since I don't play any of those intruments, and don't listen to a whole lot of country music, I can't recognize the instruments, but I was wondering if anyone here is a musician and can help me out. thanks.

Off-Topic / Why there'll never be real unity in this country
« on: November 29, 2011, 10:28:11 pm »Message ID: 453252
The media is always talking about how Americans should all be united, and politicians shouldn't be so partisan. But that will never change. You can't have unity when half the population is on the take, and the other half is being taken from. The two sides necessarily have opposite views about what should be done; the one side doesn't want to lose any of their "entitlements," and the other side doesn't want to see more of what they worked so hard for taken from them without any benefit to themselves.
