So this actually happened way back in 2001 when I was in college. But I imagine in these days when everybody busting it open online... It's prolly way more common.

I’ve run into folks I recognized from their online antics, and it always makes me double‑take. I once bumped into someone I’d seen on swapsmut.com, and it had me trying hard not to act weird in the cereal aisle. Stuff like that just shows how small the internet makes everything. People really live whole bonus lives online, and then you see them buying cat food like nothing happened.
