Dual Accounts...
« on: January 31, 2012, 12:18:19 pm »
I created a second account on my computer for another person who could not create an account at that time but they will not be using it on this computer they will be using it on another computer... I wont be penalized money or anything for just setting up the account for them will I? It was just solely to get them started on the program so they could continue at home...

This is from the terms of service:

"Users must not create more than one account per person, nor may they create more than one account per household. A "household" is defined as a single dwelling (including basements, attics, extensions, etc). Should a user be a member of more than one household, he/she must be the only FusionCash user in each of those households."

As long as your friend is not using their account in the same household there shouldn't be a problem. However, if they reside in the same house, even they are not a relative, their using a second account would violate FC's terms of service.

Hope that helps :)

You can find me hanging out on Google :)

Yes the rules are there for everyone to read. If I were you I would not let the friend use the second account in the same household.

they dont go by the computer being used to take surveys,i think they check up on you if the account was created under the same IP address, which it would have been.  it might not be a good idea to let the friend use it, as they'll say you're trying to commit fraud?

Yes I agree with everyone.  The rules are very specific.  They only look at your IP address.

You may not get the dollar referral fee since it was created at the same IP address you use, but as long as your friend uses a different one from here on out, you should hopefully get the other credits.

Why couldn't they create an account? And yeah it is possible they will block that account or yours for not following the rules.

If you created the second account, you already violated the rules, and FC could ban both accounts. Even if your friend doesn't actually use his account on your computer, you still signed up two different accounts from the same computer a BIG NO-NO!
