I once was a neat freak, but it was making me sick to worry bout my boys room...I told them I don't care how they keep their room as long as it don't flow into the hallway....

if you really live in your home then everything shouldn't look like you don't-- i have two kids and two dogs and we live in our house and yes sometimes it is a wild mess but my time is better spent with my kids and dogs then worrying about how my house looks-sometimes you just have to let go and decide whats more important--just my thoughts

i'm definitely not a neat freak, but i have to admit that i'm a much
happier person when my space is tidy. sometimes i look around
and decide that i just have too much CRAP... then out comes the
goodwill box! it's refreshing fill it up and haul it off.

the bathroom and kitchen are always the cleanest rooms in my
home. the bedroom is the messiest. i blame my closet for not
being big enough!  ;)
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]

For the first 6 years of my marriage all I did was clean my house from the time I got my husband off to work and my son off to school.  Then I went to work as an in-home care nurse.  Now I clean the main portion of my house once a week.  The kitchen and the bathroom every day.

My kitties think the duster is a cat toy and the vacuum is a monster that will eat them so although they make most of the mess they're no help with the clean up.   :cat: :cat: :cat: :cat:

A place for everything and everything in it's place is the way I usually keep house.  Sometimes, I don't do well with that and it constantly bothers me until I "fix" that situation.

I live alone so I really CAN have it my way.  When I was married with children I often closed the doors to my children's bedrooms so I would be bothered by their mess.  I tried to "live and let live" when I lived with others.

Have a great day!

I don't like a messy house, but I don't clean and clean and clean, I clean real good when it is needed, and that is that.
