 where are all the hummingbirds?? Last year I had a bunch and this year i've only seen a few.  anybody got an idea??

I live in LA and I've seen 2 or 3 of these iridescent, glossy little birds in my garden during the last 2 months.

There are no shortage of hummingbirds here at my house (Southern California) because I have a hummingbird feeder and they use it like Grand Central Station...........they are well spoiled here so fear not.  Maybe get yourself a hummingbird feeder (Lowes or Home Depot $20.00) and then you will see more "friends" drop in.

Where are you from? Maybe, the place is too hot for hummingbirds to go near your place. I have no idea why they didn't come your place. Maybe, there were hunting that killed the birds, but impossible for them to kill the hummingbirds cuz they are so small and fly so fast!
