How well do you take it, can you really handle someone telling you the truth.

I think I can take a lot of criticism, but I don't know where my limit is.

I take a heck of a lot, but right now it is a good thing sis is back in Alaska. Because I am getting mighty close to wiping up the floor with her. Besides the criticism she lies about me and or just  will not tell the whole truth. She tries to make every one think I am doing anything for my dad. She only comes for 2 weeks uses him like crazy and then leaves. It is up to me to get his groceries, make sure his meds are current haul him 80 miles one way to the doctors and then also take him shopping. I never ask him to do anything for me, Hubby and I also cut wood for him and my brothers does too when he  can.  Oh well to each his own.

It really depends on who is providing feedback and my mood also.

It depends on whether the criticism is constructive or not.  Constructive criticism, may sting a little, but deep down you know what is being told to your is true and you have a choice to change for the better.  Destructive criticism I have no patients for - I'd just walk away or ignore that person as they are most likely only saying things more to make themselves feel better vs providing honest critique to assist me in improving whatever it is they are criticizing.

Criticism doesn't give me any positive vibes. It is not healthy for me or for anyone to judge me. But I know some people can handle some harsh ones and still feel good about themselves.

It really depends.  If it's someone I care about and care about their opinions, I try my best to take it.  It also will depend on if it's constructive or not.  Sometimes you have to not let others get to you, other times it's important to take what others say to heart.
