How do radial fans compare to centrifugal blowers in terms of durability and maintenance?

A buddy of mine in LA who works in building maintenance messaged me after I told him we had issues with our emergency ventilation setup. He shared a link about smoke exhaust fan . I didn’t even know there were that many variations. The section with technical specs was what caught my attention. In the US, where code compliance can vary state to state, it’s a relief to see designs that factor in flexibility. I bookmarked it right away for our fire inspection prep.
