Copied from the Charlottesville, VA Daily Progress - regarding FEMA's denial of funds after earthquake in Louisa County, VA in August:
"Now FEMA officials know how it feels.  When Federal Emergency Management Agency officials met with Louisa County officials about denying emergency assistance funds to help residents recover from the Aug. 23 earthquake, they didn’t know that the county had a special presentation prepared for them.  Neither did the county. The presentation came from 2.5 miles underground and about six miles away.  The 41st aftershock since the magnitude 5.8 earthquake struck at about 12:40 p.m. Wednesday at magnitude 3.0. It was the fifth-strongest shake since the quake."
