How to get rid of blackbirds in my yard

Help...anyone out there have any ideas on how to get rid of really aggressive black birds.  They show up in flocks of about 60 or so and tear up my yard and feeders.  They eat up all of my bird food that I've put in the feeders for the other birds.  I don't want to hurt any of them I just don't want them in my yard bullying the other birds away so they wont even stay and eat.    [/color]

Are they black birds or are they crows?  I ask because there are different methods for clearing out birds. 

Have you considered a couple of cats?
