I've heard of Bitcoins, but I don't understand them. I guess I'll stick to the USD until it's rendered useless by the Fed.

Looks like I need to read up on them and see what they are all about .  It will at least be interesting reading. I will stick to US dollars. Knowledge is always power.

i have a bitcoin wallet and i get a few hundred sattoshi each day, but it is so unpredictable that i dont rely on it much.  the price swings wildly from one extreme to the other

I would never pay any money for Bitcoin, because it really has no inherent worth, and I'm not a gambler. But I figured it wouldn't hurt to get some free Bitcoin. I use a lot of free faucet sites, and other sites to get free Bitcoin. I don't do offer sites, because I'd rather  get actual cash for doing offers, like from Fusion Cash. For a couple extra minutes a day, it can't hurt to get some free Bitcoin, and if it ever gets to be worth a lot of money, I won't regret it.

I wasn't too sure about it, so I was just waiting till the hype died down a little and see how it was going... I'm glad I did after the announcement of one of the largest exchanges disappearing: http://abcnews.go.com/Technology/wireStory/collapse-exchange-spells-trouble-bitcoin-22672329

I wasn't aware of what Bitcoin was either until I heard this story....sounds like something to stay away from.

When the dust settles I might try it...but it sounds worse than getting paid in thousandths of a point...ugh!

I love Bitcoins because the government or banks doesn't have a hand in it.  It's a person to person pay system that a lot of businesses are getting into at this time.  It took a hit a couple of days a go and the prices were down, but Bitcoin is rising back again.

I'm still thinking about it as I don't know if it will last and I can't afford it anyway.  I didn't know it was possible to get free bitcoins until I read this thread.
