the way things go
« on: March 27, 2015, 12:35:20 pm »
sometimes, your day can turn out quite differently than you thought when you got out of bed.

there are times when a neighbor will come to my apartment and ask me to do something.
the things that I am doing are not really that important.

I am glad when someone surprises me and wants to return a favor.

yes it is nice when someone returns the favor :) We are always taught not to expect something back when we give something, but its nice to know there are a few people left in the world who remembers when they were helped and give a hand back

These days at least from my experience people don't want to help others unless they are going to get paid.  If I do something for someone I feel it is wrong for me to "expect" them to "return the favor" aka "pay me back".  Because I would be upset if someone done something for me and I thought they were just helping me and then later they want something and throw it back in my face "hey, I done this for you and you owe me".  I try not to ask anybody for anything other than close family that I know won't throw it back at me.

You never know how the day will go. But it does seem better if you have a good attitude when you get up. If you are running late and continue to get frustrated, things negative continue to pill up throughout the day. However, if you don't let it get to you and have a smile, you will be surprised at how much better things can improve throughout the rest of the day. BMaston12

I am almost always surprised with what the day brings...good and bad.  Love when I hear unexpectedly from friends or when I learn that someone has had a good thing fall into their laps.  Cosmic.
