some people like oxi-clean, but i dont.  I use shout.  spray it on, rub it in and let it set for a couple of hours, then wash.   what is the stain of?  some things work better that others on certain stains>> :dontknow:

I swear by Zout!! My kids get tons of stains, and all I do is squirt a little on the clothes and take a NEW toothbrush, (then I use that one over and over just for this though) And work it into the stain. If its a bad stain let it set after you work the Zout in for a couple of minutes, then throw it in with the regular wash.
Good Luck.
If its blood, try Peroxide. We used that at the motel I worked at as a teen. It will take blood out of white clothing.

It really depends on the type of stain it is. MOST stains can be removed using club soda or baking soda. It also depends on the material of the clothing item, you may be able to use a more harsh approach. If you have dried the article of clothing, it is probably too late, since the heat sets the stain in. My husband works in pure filth, so I have had MANY years of experience in getting out stains, so far I have not had one I couldn't get out...but it does take a lot to get most of them out.
