Friday Night in the City

It's a late September evening. The final officially Summer weekend. Friday night in fact. Where am I? The kids are gone! The house is quiet. The air cool almost crisp-where am I? Getting ready to hit the clubs? A movie or a concert maybe? Nope! I'm home alone. Don't cry. It's been rather nice. Remember no kids-my hubby is included. I can surf to my hearts content. Fall asleep on the couch if I want. And sit in front of the computer with no interruptions! Bliss! Nirvana maybe? Even the usual urban restlessnes that's been errupting from just next door has decided to take the night off.
Have I fallen in the rabbit hole? No, I'm just a Mom on an unexpected vacation.
