Fishing is one of my favorite thing to do in my free time and especially during summer vacations along with family. Planning such kinds of activities is fun and the best thing to kill your free time. If you are planning for fishing you can get more here ideas and more about fun activities.

The Pandemic did a double whammy on my annual trips to the Oregon Coast for some bottom fishing, especially when they include a half dozen Dungenous Crabs they do all the work for. I will be going back this year as soon as it warms up and dries out a little more. I see the charter has gone up to $150 a person, but with the current price of crab alone  that seems like a bargain to me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJyyZvBuK64

We loved deep sea fishing. Used to make at least 4 trips in the summer chartering a boat but when prices went up and fish limits went up, we started taking head boats. Now that the kids are grown, the younger one still goes fishing but he now goes to NY for salmon. We don't go anymore. Too costly. How we miss those days, though.

How can you put a price on healthy meals and outdoor activity that enhance your life. Just don't go as often.

I find fishing so boring.  Not sure how people can sit for hours waiting for the first fish to bite whatever is on the hook.

When I have a 30 to 40 pound Spring Chinook Salmon on my line, just thinking about how it's going to taste is enough to keep me involved for however long it takes to get him in my landing net. Then if I want a better workout I go up to spend a week or so with my son in Alaska. Last trip I made I brought back a cooler with 50 pounds of Sockeye filets.

I don't like fishing and don't ever want to go again.  I don't like baiting the hook with the slimmy worms and I don't like taking a fish off the hook.  This is something that doesn't appeal to me.

You just need to go with someone who knows what they are doing. The fish I go after don't eat worms or slimmy bait, lures are cleaner and there are tools to take them off the hook without stress. Of course you might get squeemish about using a fish whacker to stop them from squirming.
