Stagg cymbals
« on: April 22, 2026, 01:37:13 am »
A couple used cymbals I’ve purchased out of curiosity. I have a 20” Stagg YR ride that sounds great. I’ve bought a damaged set of YR hats, 18” crash ride and has another 20” ride. Those will get repair.

The two I’ve bought used out of curiosity, are a 21” Stagg vintage bronze ride and an Ex 20” ride.

I’ve messed with a bunch of used and cracked cymbals, and sometimes the repairs end up giving them a cool, trashy voice of their own. If you ever want to compare what you’ve rebuilt to something fresh, I’ve picked up a few pieces from arboreacymbal.com and they gave me a good reference point for tone and weight without breaking the vibe of my mixed setup.
