i used to wear contacts but now that i don't work i can't justify the cost of them. so i wear my glasses... sometimes. i know i should wear them all the time but they're only good for distance and since i'm usually at home i don't really see the need for them. also, my toddler likes to pull them off my face so if i did wear them all the time that would increase the chances of her breaking them and then i wouldn't have them for when i did need them.

I wear glasses all the time now.  I have bifocals so glasses work the best.

When I was younger, I had hard contacts.

I wear glasses. Have done so since I was 18. Don't think I could put contacts in.

That is a question that I have to figure out each morning. I wear both and switch back and forth depending on what is going on.
On busier days, I prefer to wear contacts. They are definity not in the way and makes life at the office alot easier than having to adjust he bulky glasses. For me, wearing contacts prevents the headache that i occassionally get from wearing glasses. My face is less oily when i wear glasses because it's not heavy on my face. I get the convenience of not having to worry about it dropping to the ground when I'm picking up things. However, wearing contacts consistently will give me eye problems. It's makes my eyes dry and I can't seem to them moist. They are prone to infections as well.
Wearing glasses is a good way to give your eyes a break from the contact lense inserting in the eye socket each day. Sometimes when the days are longer then 10 hours at work, it's definitely a wise decision to wear glasses. I can take off the glasses and give my a break from the screen. Take a power nap or close my eyes a break. I don't have to worry about my glasses irriating my eyes when I'm driving and be blind from one side if a lash is stuck in the eye. It's a hassle to worry about what would happen if a contact lense fall out during work. I get the break from having to check for dust particles or other things that gets in the way. With glasses, I take them off and just give them a good wipe to clean them. No more carrying solution in my purse (in case).
I don't know what I would do if I didn't have both contact lense and glasses.

I have both but I screwed up my eyes by wearing them for like 6 or 7 days at a time without taking them out.  Now I can barely wear them for 18 hours straight before I have to take them out :(

I wear only glasses and have been using them since I was in 6th grade.  I'm 29 now.  For a brief period in the mid-90's I experimented with wearing soft contacts for activities such as sports.  If I used nothing, I couldn't see things very well, and the prescription goggles were kind of cumbersome, weird feeling, and gave me headaches.  I tried very hard to get used to contacts, but just couldn't.  I ended up just using no vision correction when I played.  Probably didn't help my performance, but I wasn't going to be playing in college or was pro bound anyway. :P
