Grocery shopping
« on: January 05, 2010, 11:50:18 am »
Where to you shop for groceries?   Everything is so expensive now I try to get the most for my money but that is hard to do.  I usually but most everything at Walmart except for the meat and produce.

Walmart is not that much cheaper than many grocery stores.  I do much better with double coupons, store promotions/rebates and store sales.  Many of these can all be used at the same time. Walmart usually does not believe in or feature any of these things for the most part.

I go where ever. Sometimes Wal-Mart, Hy-Vee, Aldis, Sav-A-Lot. Just depends how much I have to get, if I have to get anything besides food, and how far I feel like driving.

Aldi, Walmart and Meijer. At least they are all located close to each other so what I save on groceries I don't waste on gas.

I shop at whole foods. I have lots of bad allergies and they cater to every need on the planet. It's an awesome place and the staff there is so friendly. I love going there and finding out about new foods.

ALDI's, Safeway, Shoppers or Giant mostly -

I shop our local grocery store for most things.  If I am going to the city 40 miles away, I go to Hyvee and Walmart

I just came back from grocery shopping and very  :BangHead: irritated.  Everything is so expensive!  I went to walmart first and it seems that everything has raised in price and that they don't have everything i need, so i ended up going to Kroger and Food Fair ... now I am too tired to cook dinner  :)

If you have an Aldi's close they, have good deals, and you can fill your entire cart, for what you would get a few meals with at any ordinary store, I have been shopping there for years.
