I dont buy the cheapest store brand, but if the mid-range store brand is cheaper than the brand name I will buy it (or if the store brand beats out the brand name coupon, because I'm a HUGE coupon shopper).

I am buying alot of store brands these days but, if I don't have a choice but to get a name brand product, I get it if I really need it. I have realized now that store brand products of name brand products are almost the same. The reason that the prices are so different between the store brands and the name brands are because of the names. We spend more for names than products.

I get alot of store brand food and drinks, with most stuff you cant even taste the difference. Sometimes I will buy name-brand, but only when its on a big sale

I will drink water before I pay seven dollars for pepsi, that is crazy. It depends on the item. I shop for deals, but if I really need an item, I will have to pay, or change my plans, I usually change my plans.

I almost never buy store brands, the quality and flavor is not as good. To be fair, the quality has improved some over the years.  I can taste the difference most of the time between store brand and name brand products.

If you buy national name brands on sale and especially with a coupon, the name brands are many times less expensive than the store brands.

If you compare the labels many store brands have more sugar, fat, salt, artificial flavor, etc when compared to the name brand of the same product.

It depends on the product.  some of the non brand foods taste the same, but there are some that are just plain nasty.  for example, we eat non-brand bread, but the non-brand cheese is nasty.  and if i can use a coupon the save money, im all for it.  our economy sucks, nowadays.

I usually by the store brands, but there are some things that are just NOT the same - so I am willing to pay for them.
To break even I wait till those products go on sale and buy by the case load  8)

I like to save money, so whenever something is on sale I pick it up. My family nor I have never been picky when it comes to store brand vs. name brand food products.

The last time I shopped at Kroger all of my groceries were their brand.  Didn't really plan it that way I was just looking for the the cheapest products and they happened to be it.  Works for me.

I don't care either way, whichever's cheapest. Which is usually the store brand. I've never seen a difference in taste worth the difference in price.

I always find that Name-Brand stuff tastes better. If I am low on cash, at the end of the month then I buy cheap stuff. I haven't found any store brand stuff that tastes better than name brand.

I do buy store brand milk. And I like Store Brand Orange Juice from Winn-Dixie but not from Wal-mart.

name brand products are the only thing i like
