Anybody sell on ebay?

I've bought a lot of stuff from eBay. Really, though, it has changed a lot from what it once was. I mean, of course it would, EVERYTHING does - but it seems like the people USING it are different now.

YA I would agree. I am getting a lot of direct disconnection in people and their business sense or lack thereof. It seems to me that a lot of personal service is getting lost in the translation and efforts. I do expend a certain amount of energy and time into sending some funny and crazy messages to people for various reasons just to let others know I am not some binary code bot without emotion or compassion.

On the other side of that coin; I have done business with numerous people that believe just as I do that life is not about getting stuck on little things and that the personal quality of being able to let things go whatever they may be is where true growth occurs.

Of course there are a lot of people not being raised at all and they are seriously fragile (not confident, jealous, scared etc) and that does make it challenging. But it gives us the opportunity to test ourselves to see if we can pull together all of our experience and skills to keep transactions of business or even just conversation in a positive and effective direction.

Well I think it's just bull crap trying to make the smaller sellers like myself get taxed! I understand if I brought in like over 5000 k a month but a few hundred dollars here & there isn't going to make me or break me! What next?? The US gov. is going to make me tax my items if I have a personal garage sale?? This country is falling apart & pretty soon i'll be packin up & heading to Canada!

I share one with my boyfriend and we sold stuff like our old Pokemon cards, some action figures, etc. For some things its easier to find a sales community on Livejournal to sell them, and Livejournal actually doesn't have any fees whatsoever, so I suggest looking around there. I used the garagesalejapan community to sell a ton of old manga and stuff I didn't want anymore.

I've bought and sold stuff on Ebay. I like Craigslist now, though. You can list items with pictures for free and target people near where you live, so you don't have to worry about shipping. Garage sales are still huge around here, though.

I thought I would try it, but it seems that it would be time-consuming.  I got the free boxes from the post office, scale, and a bunch of other stuff but still have never tried to sell anything.  I need to get rid of a bunch of clothes, which isn't working very well on craigslist.

I've been selling on eBay for a long time now.  I've wondered about selling coupons, too-I'm going to have to start listing those after reading what I did here!  Thanks for the tips

ebay is in big trouble - they took their sellers for granted - now they must pay - depending on what you are selling you will find better and more customers at other sites - i would never use them again even if they pay me - had a proshop and ebay caused more problems than they were worth - besides there are many free local seller sites available now - IMHO >> In My Humble Opinion - The MUSEUM, Zazzle, deviantART, ArtFire, FineArtAmerica

i sell and buy on ebay. i buy more then i sell usually. it's just easier to shop that way instead of going to the store and spending a crap load on one thing when u can get a bunch of things on ebay for the same price.

I have an ebay account and was just wondering if anyone on here has one as well.  I have made quite a bit of money sellng stuff that my house just doesnt need anymore.  U can sell anything on ebay.  I have sold clipped coupons before.   go figure...

I tried to sell 1 item and didnt get anywhere.
