Why are some of the well off people more greedy?

Because they are wealthy, but they are not fulfilled in their lives(ie friends, love, personal)

Thank you for all of you replying on this topic. It's true that the wealthy have worked very hard to get where they are; however, I am refering to only the ones that continue to take and take from everyone around them. Let's face it, we all know at least one person. Saddest part is, that person may be close to us. When this is the case, it's very frustrating.
Most of us understand the concept of hard work. I was working two 60 hours while going to school full-time. I worked 7 days straight without any days off and lost sleep time to study for my classes. I know there are some people out there who don't have it together. Now, that is due to many reasons that I don't want to get into. But for someone already ahead, they should not take advantage of their love ones. I think with money people feel the power of manipulating and taking advantage of others.
