The Olympics

I am not a sports fan.  I engage in no sports nor am I fan of any sports: no tennis, football, baseball etc.    But I do like both the summer and winter olympics.  I always try to watch some of the opening and closing ceremonies.  I watch pieces of the competitions.  I do not care for the long games like ice hockey or in the summer, softball, but I like the fast moving competitions.   When the U.S. wins gold, I try to watch the ceremony.   It looks like they are having some really bad weather in Vancouver.  I am watching, sort of right now, as I write this.  How about the rest of you?

From everyone I talk to, I believe I am the only person in the world who does not watch the Olympics and have no interest in them!!

I'm watching them now.  The US just won their first ever medal in nordic combined (we got the silver!)

I love watching the Olympics.  I watch the summer and winter also.

I think the Canadian women crushing the Slovakians was uncalled for.  The should have stopped scoring at 9 and been cool about it.  Mens team would not have done that.  Just a professional courtesy...even an amatuer courtesy!  Women sports have along ways to go.
