Which one do you prefer being married or being single?

It will last forever if you want it to. Marriage is not a requirement. Statistics show that married people live longer and I guess it's because of the support in partnership.

I would definately say being married.  It took me a long time to find my hunny.  He is the best husband.  I didn't date much but the two serious ones I dated for 6 years each.  A waste of time, but you learn from your mistakes.  Then unexpectedly I met my husband.   We dated for three months and got married.  We have been married since 2000.

I was married for five years. It was good days and it was bad days. When it was good it was great and when it was bad it was hell. I think I wouldn't mind another shot at it one day.....

Well, I was married for about 7.5 years before we separated and eventually divorced. I wouldn't say I like being "single" - but I like being with someone.

I guess it depends on how compatible you are? I wasn't happy a lot of the time we were married (got married very fast, very young), on the other hand, I've been dating a guy about a year, and we are taking things slow and it's great.

So, I dunno. lol

they both have there advanages and disadvantages, for example being single you can do whatever you want whenever you want and theres know one you have to answer to. On the other hand having someone by your side means you have someone who cares if you get sick, hurt, take you out for your birthday every year and know things about you that you might not want anybody else to know, so when you need that good laugh, hug or just someone you trust to talk to, being married ain't so bad either!
