What kind of music do you like?
I like almost any kind. I don't listen to rap and R&B but I used to. Now I mostly listen to country, pop, and rock.

I mainly listen to rap or rock, but I can listen to pretty much anything.

Google is your friend. You can find me there. Can I find you there?

I love many different kinds, actually. At the moment my top 3 favorite bands are Kill Hannah, [a rock I guess you could call them?] band from Chicago, Illinois, Muse, who I believe are from Devon, England, and Radiohead, who are from Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

I like pretty much anything... You know, like rock, heavy metal, some country, Celtic, a little pop (WAIT!!! Did he just say Celtic?! WTF?!) Yeah, like I said pretty much everything, including Celtic; it's especially fun when you go to a pub and bang your foot on the floor to some lively jig. I just got to see Solas in February when they had a concert here.

I also have a strange sense of humor, which includes many humorous groups / singers. Richard Cheese and the Lounge Against the Machine takes modern songs and "swankifies" them (his word), basically making them into Vegas-style lounge songs (as well as some classic ballroom-dance styles). I also like Voltaire, a Goth? singer that plays European folk style music (I think of it as Gypsy music with the acoustic guitar and screeching violin) about such topics as Zombie Prostitutes, The Vampire Club, and When You're Evil. And although not always humorous, I like mashups (or booties), which takes parts of different songs and puts them together to form a new one. I especially like the ones that not only fit the beat and melody of the different songs together, but also puts the words together to create logical lyrics about a topic. My favorite mashup artist is DJ Earworm who is famous for making year-end mashups of the top 25 songs of the year. He started this United State of Pop in 2007 and has continued up to last December's 2009 version subtitled Blame it on the Pop which sings about how even though life can get you down ("down, down, down"), just get back up and "blame it on the pop" ("blame it on the dance"):

i listen to everything, it just depends on the mood i am in. all-time favorites are classic rock (dad's influence) and reggae(husband's) just to show my range of interest, my 5disc cd player has matisyahu, adele, ice cube, tom petty, and garth brooks in it right now. one genre i prefer not to listen to is metal. its okay but i prefer music that had lyrics, melodies, or harmonies, instead of screaming :)
