Need Help from Admin Identity Guard
« on: March 30, 2010, 01:16:40 pm »
I did this offer a few days ago. I signed up and gave my credit card info. I've been able to check my credit report and I have emails from them, but I didn't get the $16 credit. Can you help me get the credit somehow?

I'm not sure why it didn't credit for me. I know I did everything the right way. I was hoping maybe it just took a couple days, but apparently not. It's disappointing because I was counting on it to put me over the $15 offer threshhold to cash out.  :(

I know a long time ago when Netflix didn't credit Kohler helped me, so I'm still hopeful. ;)

Give it till Tuesday or Wednesday just in case, and if you still haven't been credited, you can open a support ticket in the "offer status" tab of your special offers page.  Click the little blue arrow icon next to Identity Guard to file a ticket about it.

I am another one of those who never got credited for this, so I did what I was told to do - I submitted a support ticket. That did a lot of good. I was told in the e-mail from FC that there is nothing FC can do. So, what other recourse is there ????!!!!
The company charged a dollar to my credit card, they send me e-mails regarding my account with them and any updates, so I am obviously a member of Identity Guard. When I called and questioned why the $1.00 was charged to my credit card, I was told it was simply for verification and should have been credited back. It never was and that's after 3 seperate calls to them. I still stand by a comment I made about this (in a post that mysteriously disappeared from the FC Forums) that FC may not be responsible for the companies, but they ARE responsible for the companies they allow to advertise if those companies do NOT live up to the advertised offers. My email from FC also stated "they don't get paid unless we do" and I find that very hard to believe. After all, why would you continue to do business with them? If it was a matter of 50 cents, I wouldn't care, but the fact that it is $16.00 and my credit card is now in their system, I want my money.  :BangHead:

The $1 "charge" is an authorization, which should fall off of your credit card statement soon.  How long it takes to fall off is completely up to your credit card company, not Identity Guard.  If you call up your card company and ask about the charge they should be able to confirm that it is an authorization and give you an estimated time that it will fall off.

It's a fact that we don't get paid unless you do.  It's also a fact that offers sometimes fail to credit.  It's because the tracking systems (which are an industry standard) are not perfect.  But still, a majority of people who correctly complete a given offer are credited.  If that's not the case, then we remove the offer.  Lots of people have completed and been credited for Identity Guard already.  I know it's not what you want to hear, but this kind of situation isn't really anybody's fault.

I'm puzzled, you stated in your post that you were counting on the credit to put you over th $15 threshhold to cash out. When your banner states you have 925 offers for $1,111. If you have that much coming in offers shouldn't you be way over the $15 threshold?

That counts from the time I joined, about 2 years ago. Most of my money is bonuses not offers.
