I'm not gay and I don't really care if you are or not.  I'm not going to go around posting topics saying "ok I'm straight-who else is straight and is there a problem with it"!!  Do you have a problem with straight people???

One the only reason why I did that was because of the grief that I've endured and to see if others have endured the same. Straight people are awesome! There are actually the ones that I try to befriend in my adult years. and if you really don't care why would you reply that just seems to be a waste of time. Sorry if that was blunt but that's about it.

There really is no difference in hetero and homosexual couples. Some people just can't handle it and use the bible as an excuse to hate. Be who you are and don't let anyone else change who you are. 

What makes you think the Bible tells people to hate.  The Bible is not an excuse to hate.  The people that can't handle or choose not to accept or deal with homosexuality have the right to not "handle" it.  Just because certain people can't or won't deal with homosexuality doesn't mean that the Bible was an influence in their decission.  I have friends that don't accept homosexuality that are not Christians they are Atheists.  Another thing there is a difference between a heterosexual person and a homosexual. They may still be human  but there is difference between the two just like there's a difference between a man and woman.   And to GoGoKokiGo, you believe what you want to be believe and support what you want to support we live in a free country and isn't it great we have the freedom to believe what we want.

I wrote SOME people. Mostly those people that write things like "God hates gays" and "Adam and Eve. Not Adam and Steve." Correct me if I'm wrong but it does seem like people who write things like that must have some religious influence. I'm just saying a large chunk of people who are against gays and gay marriage are religiously influenced. Seeing as prop 8 was mostly backed by religious institutions saying that gay marriage would ruin straight marriage.

I also didn't say they HAD to handle it. But even if they do "handle it" or not, gay people are still going to be gay people. Eventually they're going to have to handle it. Exactly how long do you think people can ignore a whole type of person? It's like trying not to acknowledge people with brown hair. People are growing more and more tolerant, eventually they will be accepted. Wasn't it not long ago that black people couldn't even eat in the same place as white people, use the same water fountains and restrooms as white people? I believe the same thing will happen with gays.

I'm not sure if you read my post correctly. I wrote that I don't believe there is a difference between a homosexual  COUPLE and a heterosexual COUPLE. Seeing as there is no real definition for romantic couple I will give you an example of what I think a couple is: Two people coming together to express their love for one another. So if two people come together to express their love what is the difference if they are gay or not? I see no difference. Bringing up black people again, they were also not allowed to be married to white people. What was the difference between black and white couples? Nothing. There is nothing different as long as the two love each other. Same goes for heterosexual and homosexual couples.

As you said I do believe what I want. It is perfectly fine that you don't agree with me. Although it is weird that you would write that after you quoted me and disagreed. There was really no reason for you to write it if you were just trying to disagree with me. You could have just posted and moved on.

whatever kind of live you lead or world you live in is your business you don't need to put a strain on it. There are a lot of things going on in this planet
do whatever you want worry about whatever before you die. cause in reality people really don't know anything. wrong or right you choose your own path. don't drag anyone with you unless they are already heading there.

I have no problem with Gay people I'm not gay but i have a few friends that are and they don't push their lifestyle on me which is why I have no problem with gays

I'm not gay, but I do believe in LOVE. No matter what your religion is, your sexuality, or the color of your skin. All is love.

I'm not a religious person, but I do believe that the only thing God doesn't like is hateful and spiteful people. For people to go to the Bible for reference is all fine and dandy. But, they're being mighty hypocritical considering the Bible also tells us not to judge others. Which is exactly what you are doing when you say you "hate" gays or look down upon someone because of their sexual preference.

I do not have a problem with it.  Everyone should be able to live life  how they want to.  And if you will raise a child in a loving environment then there is nothing wrong with it. I actually know of a lady that had a child so a gay couple could adopt it.

Gay people should be treated with respect just like everyone else. Gays are just normal people and many people mistreat them for being who they are. It is ok to be gay and if people don't like it then they are just being ignorant. I have a lot of friends that are gay and they are totally being themselves. Who is to judge someone for being who they are?
