How often do you wash your jeans?

I usually wash my jeans after every one or two times I wear them, but lately everyone is telling me it is best to not wash them very much.  I've been hearing that they will look nicer and last longer because they won't fade/get worn out.  Like some people say every 6 months! Well either way I don't think that would work for me since my jeans get stretched out and washing them seems to restore their shape/ get out wrinkles.  Just wondering what everyone else thinks?

That's just gross.  If people are washing jeans only twice a year, I don't want to know about the rest of their hygiene or what the inside of their house looks like.

My jeans are washed after every time I wear them.  If you wash them inside-out, that helps with them not wearing out so fast.  But honestly, I have a few pairs which are many years old, and they look perfectly fine.

I get about three wears out of them before I wash them.  I don't work in a coal mine so I don't get that dirty.  I don't see the reason to wash them if I just put them on to sit in the house.

i love doing laundry, and if i had my own washer &dryer
i'd probably do it every other day. unfortunately,
apartment living calls for sharing that amenity, so i only
make time for it about twice a month and usually spend
a whole day on it...

i have to wear khakis to work every day, so my jeans
don't see me as much as i'd like. i alternate pairs too,
so i'd say on average, i wear each pair about three
times before they're washed. i like them broken in, but
not stretched out!

Everytime I buy a pair of jeans and have worn them one time, I hang them back up. After I have worn them about 3 times in a row then I wash them. But if it happens that it needs washing after the first wear, then I will wash them.

Always wash in cold water with a color booster and do not put in the dryer or hang out side to dry hang them up to dry inside.

The jeans are easily color-fading so the best treatment to them is washing them once after 2-3 wearing times. I personally think 6 months is too long but once everyday will be destroying the color too quickly

When I buy a pair of jeans, I immediately wash them before I wear them. God knows who tried them on before I bought them, not to mention if they were wearing underwear or not. I normally wash my jeans after a couple of wears and use a color safe laundry detergent. I have jeans that are 10 years old and look as good today as the day I bought them. Six months for each wash is absolutely disgusting. I wouldn't want to be any where near that person. I can only imagine what hygiene habits they have.

It depends on what I've been doing. If I've just been sitting around the house, I'll wear them a 2nd time. I'd hate to see jeans not washed for 6 months...or smell them.

Not that much often only when their up in arms with stains I hate stains ..epsically like toothpaste or cinnamon icing stains like they just get me in a rivid mood
