Daily Surveys
« on: June 17, 2010, 01:57:49 pm »
I wish the daily surveys were actually daily like the other daily offers. For instance, I can get the .15 and .02 e-mail offers every day, no matter what time of day I choose to take them. The daily surveys on the other hand aren't really daily, they're offered every 24 hours. And because it records the time you took the survey as the time you ENDED the survey, I can't take a survey at noon one day and take a survey at noon the next day. If it took me say an hour to get approved for a survey and complete it, then I'm not able to take the "daily" survey again until 1pm the next day. The more this adds up the less daily it becomes, especially since I might not be able to take a survey that day at 1pm, I might not be available until 8pm. At that point the following day becomes obsolete for me if I can only take a survey in the morning. So basically, every 24 hours seems to make this more like an "every other day" offer. I know I don't qualify for surveys every single day, but it's frustrating to think that I had to wait an extra and then don't get qualified the next time I take a survey, when maybe there was a survey the day before that I could have qualified for.  :P Kind of long winded, sorry!

But that's the point, lol! Skip a day = not a daily survey. It's a small gripe, I realize  ;)

I havent done one in a while but the Give us your 2cents wouldn't make you wait 24 hours, I could do those any time of the day and I would qualify every day pretty much. I havent done one in like a month it could have changed, but you should check that one out.

Here's the deal: GiveUsYour2Cents allowed one per day, rather than enforcing a 24 hour delay.  However, the tracking software in use enforces a minimum 24 hour delay between when the offer is credited and when you can click for a new day's survey.  So the only way around it is to clear your cookies, which is something we don't encourage (if done improperly, it can severely mess up your crediting).  Thus, we simply enforce a 24 hour delay between completions to ensure that everyone - those who clear cookies and those who don't - can always qualify.

MyThoughtCounts and SurveyHead have always had a 24 hour minimum period between credit->next day's eligible click.

I never get credit for taking the surveys.  Maybe I need to wait 24 hours like you said!  Thanks for the tip!

MJ, you literally won't be able to take the survey unless it's been 24 hours. So if you took a survey at 10pm on Tuesday and then click to take the same daily survey at 1pm on Wednesday, the pop up will say something along the lines of Sorry, it hasn't been 24 hours yet, you'll be cleared at 10pm. So if you're taking the surveys but not getting credit, it's not because you're not waiting 24 hours in between.

Make sure that you go all the way through to the congratulations, you're done page before you close out of the survey. It can seem like you're done but there will sometimes be one more submit button to hit to actually register the survey results. If you don't get a Congratulations, Thanks For Your Time message or something along those lines you're probably not going to get credited.

that is not that good besides you can make real money by doing surveys where you have to pay for something.

When you complete an offer, especially surveys, keep the browser window open on your screen for 5-10 minutes or so...I've learned it helps in the credit process

Hope this helps
