Back Pain
« on: July 02, 2010, 01:37:37 pm »
Ever since I got my ovary removed it seems like I always have bad back pain.  I thought it was only when I stood up for long periods of time, but today at work I have been sitting down for 9 hours and it hurts still.  What gives?

I had a hysterectomy and had back pain afterwards but i still had my ovaries so I dunno.  Although I did have chronic back pain before the surgery so it could be unrelated.  Def ask your doctor!

I know what you mean same for me after I lost my ovary and tube.  It is my sciatic nerve that causes mine and I get very tender everyonce in a while no matter what you do can't get relief.  But better go to Dr. to be safe could be something else.  Good luck in mean time try those be well patches you can get at walmart just about anywere.

ACTUALLY - I started excerizing again and now my pain is gone.  This is very exciting - if all it takes is a little excersizing, I'm happy.

talk to ur dr. maybe it's some sort of infection. it probably doesnt have ne thing to do with ur ovaries.  it might be ur kidneys. go get checked out just to be on the safe side.
