« on: July 03, 2010, 10:31:56 am »
What are the first 3 things you would grab once your family and pets were out safe? I know everyone is going to say pictures so what about after that?

* My memory box of my first daughter- gone but not forgotten..xoxoxo
* As many books as I could throw out the window
* My fridge....it's an awesome fridge

If family and pets were out, everything important is in the fire safe, so I would let the mother $%^&*( burn,  I don't need no water, let the mother #$%^er burn, burn mother @#$%^& burn.

Seriously, I have insurance, everything else is replaceable, with the insurance money I can replace everything, and move to a new area.

Well after kids and pets were out theres really nothing that I need more than that besides my purse, & computer but even thats replaceable.  My Bible and my kids would say there xbox and games, and one would say his bible.  Everything else isn't imporant.

i like how people read the question carefully-obviously, people, pets and anything you have on you would be first (which, hopefully would be insurance #, wallet, phone, etc.)....after that, I think it depends on if you think the house is going to completely go or where you live....and, lets' be realistic, too, I mean, could you really carry a tv or fridge out of a burning house??    I think I would grab my computer, bike, and any bag I could find and stuff it with things like my retainer/books/Bible clothes, etc....depending on how much time I had to get out....I mean, clearly safety is the first thing, the rest is what insurance is for, and I know that if I needed a place to stay, etc., somebody would open their doors to me...

That had me cracking up, now it's stuck in my head!!

I'd grab my purse, my box of Ebay items that are listed for sale at any given moment, and my box of meds including but not limited to my insulin (type 1 diabetic, insulin is a #1 priority)
