India is one of famous country for wars over religion. Before independence, muslims and hindus used to stay together and fought together. As soon as british declared aug 15 for freedom, muslims claimed new country. In India only 3 countries formed, (India, east pakistan and west pakistan). Till now the fights are going on and on. Every year India keeps 18% of its country revenue just for military purposes of the border. SO many wars have been fought but no actual results of peace and harmony :(.

Thank you, vangabhargavi, for giving us a personal look into what I am thinking is your homeland.(?) If I am wrong, please correct me on it.  :)

This is an example of how those who don't believe use reason as the foundation for their "non-belief."

.....Okay? I was curious if you knew. All you did was avoid my question and instead you 'mocked' me. Thanks.

Who comes up with this nonsense anyway. Here is only a small sample of why a war was started in the last 100 or so years.

How many of these used religion as an incentive to fight?

Many of these used religion as a secondary incentive, for sure.
