It just goes to show there are some very stupid people out there. How in the world can you justify throwing out a law that enables local law officials to do a job the Federal government has repeatly failed to do!

Alot of unhappy people here. I would bet that more harm will come from this then if the law would have taken effect.

If you read what the jugde changed in the law they are all laws/regulations that anyone of us would have to abid by in other countries.

Someone is getting money put into their pocket for this. ???

No, what happened was that portions of the new law were put on hold for now and "the state will likely appeal the ruling and seek to get the judge's order overturned". Other portions of the law still go into affect at 12:01am Thursday. The judge cannot pass a law 'on her own', it doesn't work like that.

>_<  Don't even know what to say about this....Hopefully it gets overturned.

Not that I have anything against immigrants, but I believe proper channels should be taken if they want to reside here.

Of course the federal government wants all the illegals to stay in this country, so that Obama can grant them amnesty and then they will all vote him back in next time around. But they are a major threat to the American citizens that reside in Arizona and elsewhere, and if the Federal government won't do their job, the state and local officials have an obligation to protect their citizens. Speaking of amnesty, why not just empty all the jails and give all the criminals amnesty? The illegals are just as much criminals as any of the bad guys in jail, and they should be punished, not rewarded with amnesty. Who wants to give a free ride to people who proved that they don't care one whit about our laws?

Bad. and I live in Phoenix. And am a minority.
Screw those who don't bother to come here legally.
Anything worth doing is worth fighting for.

Damned panzies.

ADDITIONAL: you know what Mexico does with their undesirables from Nicaragua, el salvadore, etc? They send them back; and they freely admit this.
