Ahhamm, A Poem

I some times think that life is sad
With the economy down the drain,
So many people, jobless, mad,

I stop myself from jumping into the abyss,
From thinking were is Superman,
Where's our hero(s) to get us out of this,

On Veterans Day, it is a reminder for us,
That life isn't so Bad, that we should be glad,

My freedom to be me is secure,
And I thank, all those now & before me,
That risk their lives to keep that freedom alive.

There ain't a thing at the nearest store that I can afford to buy.
Yeah far from being rich, in fact the exact opposite.
My back pants pocket is empty therefore resists being pickpocketed.
I'm on the constant search lookin at the ground for a penny.
And fall into a deep depression whenever I can't seem to find any.
Times are tough yeah it's rough, my lack of cash flow got me tense.
