I have awful sleep habits, so I take pills. Every night before I drop off to sleep I find myself checking out how I'm breathing. Must stop this. It freaks me out sometimes.

Breathing is part of living. We need oxygen. Without oxygen, we die. I hear myself breathe whenever I go hiking. It’s especially more intense when I hike with a group of people who are engaged in a cardio power-walk. It’s the best way to get a good workout heart attack.  ;D

Breathing has a beautiful sound.  Each day that we live is a gift from God.

When it gets cold.  The air is a lot thinner and it makes breathing more difficult.

Is that really true that the air is thinner when its cold.
I notice my breathing if I am meditating. I had to learn to meditate because breathing can be tricky. we tend not to breath at our capacity and its the exercise of breathing in for 4 counts and breathing out for 4 counts that makes it a living experience. We need to breath more. And be grateful for our breath so if you breath in for 5 counts and hold it a second then breath out for 5 eventually you will be able to do it for 6 then for 7 and wow you are then using your lungs capacity. its just so good for us that I am grateful for this post becaue its a reminder to me to go do some deep breathing.  :cat:
