Yeah I live in georgia and in north georgia where the mountains are it snowed. It is very windy for the rest of us.

I, too, live in Georgia.  You are right about it being windy - that howling wind kept me awake for quite awhile last night.  Our 3 kitties were all snuggled up to me, not liking the noise it was making.

Kim,

Wow!  3 inches and maybe more - brrr...  I would love to be there for a bit to enjoy it.  Perhaps not the slush and mud part, though, lol.  It went down to 28 this morning and only hit 40 a little bit ago (about 3:00 in the afternoon.)  It's supposed to go down possibly in the upper teens tonight.  But no rain, no snow..., just windy.  I feel so much better with my asthma, when it's cold like this.

Hope you have a better day.  Talk later!

Julie  :)

Julie,

Are you okay?  Are you running a fever?  You must be sick or you wouldn't have made the comment "Wow!  3 inches and maybe more - brrr...  I would love to be there for a bit to enjoy it."

Yeah I enjoy it too...from the window while I'm holding a hot cup of coffee dressed in my warmest sweats and wearing my bunny slippers for about....hmmm...2 seconds!

I guess extreme heat is no fun either though....

Been meaning to ask you...which of the FB games are your favorites?  I found a site where you can send and thus receive free gifts that you need but so far it's only good for certain games.  Let me know and I'll see if I can link you too.

Later girlfriend.

Kim

Kim,

Lol, you are funny!  I would love to for a little bit, though!  Then cozy up by the fire with something hot to drink, a good book and blanket, and a couple of kitties/doggies, and I'm set to go!

My top faves are Ravenwood Fair, Ravenskye, Garden of Quests.  I'm pretty much a member of many of them, just hit and miss, and mainly send items my friends need (Cityville, Farmville, Castle (?) something, Zombie (?) - the one you play, and others.)  I love Birdland and Zoo World 1, but have gotten about as far as the game goes so I piddle on them.

Check with you later.  Hope you have a nice school day and a more restful evening!

Julie  :)

I am a 32 year old mom of two young boys. I have a business degree in managment and work full time in a hospital. I like making any extra money that I possibly can.

Hi Angie,

Two boys and working must make you a very busy girl.  What part of the hospital do you work in?  Any recommendations for a fledgling Medical Assistant?  By the time I graduate I will have more training than an LPN, can do all of the same things but will only be certified, as opposed to license, and don't get the same amount of respect or pay.  Hardly seems fair.

Julie,

It was 16 degrees here when I left for school yesterday.  Reports said it had been 9 though.  Still want to come up and make a snowman?

I need to get "about as far as the game will go" on a couple of them.  They are consuming...or should I say I am allowing them to consume ... too much of my time.

I didn't sleep well last night.  Woke up with a headache about 1.  I did manage to go back to bed and back to sleep but I still have the headache this morning.

More by email.

Kim

Hi Angie,

You are most definitely a very busy lady and mom!  It's nice to meet you and hope to see you again.  :)

Kim,

Sorry about the headache - can't blame you though when you've got lots to cause it.  Hope it gets better quick for you.

9 or 16, either one, is very cold - yes, I guess I could hold off building a snowman until it warms up a little more, lol.  You've got me on this one!!  :)

Yes, those games are addicting and time-consuming.  I think that's one reason I got burnt out on them a little for awhile.  Then when everything else happened with all of us getting sick, and the family issues going on, it's like I lost my focus with them, and instead focused on trying to keep myself well and un-depressed (if there's such a term.)  I'm trying, little by little, to get in some more each day or couple of days.  But as you know, it gets hard during certain trying times.

Hope you are able to have a good day at school - feel better with that headache!

Julie  :)

Julie,

The headache finally did go away.  I did have another night of getting awake a couple of times.  I went to be at 9, was up at 12 and then again at 3:30.  My butt will be dragging by this afternoon I'm sure.

Tonight I'll try some chamomile tea before I go to bed and see if that helps.

How are you feeling?  You haven't said anything in the last couple of days.

Hi Kim,

I'm glad your headache went away.  Sorry about your restless night, though.  Hopefully tonight will be better.  Stress can do a lot to us, that's for sure.

I'm doing pretty good at the moment.  I'm glad I'm off the med that was making me so sick.  However, I can tell a difference where it was helping with the congestion and now the congestion is coming back.  I'll take that over the stomach issue any time, though!!  I go back to the new pulmonologist this coming Tuesday.  We'll discuss what to do about that med, as well as the lab work results.  I'm assuming it must not be too bad or surely I would have received a phone call, right?

It was around 2:00 this morning when I almost got up to make some hot tea, myself.  But I had 2 purring kitties tucked beside me - so I was petting them and next thing I know it's daylight.  So kitties are a help for insomnia too, lol!

Hope you have a nice day - and things get worked out!

Julie,

I'm here.  I forgot to post yesterday.  I'll have to post a couple of times to catch up!  I finally was able to file my online UC this morning but they need to catch me up on one week.

The lady I was fussing with finally received the attendance sheets.  Now I have to follow up with her each week to make sure she is getting them.  Fun, fun...I have to face the cobra each week just to remind her to open her email in box.  Grrrrr

More later.

Hey Kim,

Glad you're back!  That's great you were able to file and I hope they catch up the other week!  That sounds kind of ridiculous on her end to not do her job right - she sounds kind of "lazy" to me, kwim?

I was able to go in and catch up on requests on most of my games, and played a couple - it's been awhile since I've done that.  I noticed you were in and out of the games, too, lol.

Hope you are having a nice Sunday!

Julie  :)

Julie,

My daughter came up Saturday from West Virginia to get her hair cut.  She can't find anyone that cuts her hair the way I do so she drove 5 1/2 hours, went out to dinner with me, stayed the night and drove home yesterday.  It was good to have her here for a while.

I was able to file my UC yesterday but they have it messed up to where I had to submit job search information again.  I'll have to ask that woman, again, to have the site fixed for me.  I just dread asking her to do anything but I'll have to follow up when my attendance sheets are sent in this week anyhow so I'll ask her when I do that.

I have put on 15 pounds since last year at this time.  School, inactivity, stress, and the holidays are to blame I'm sure.  That and I have no will power!   It's depressing though and I really need to get a handle on it.

Playing too many games too so I have to try to cut back on that time waster.

I'm really not feeling good about myself right now.   :-

I got that tetnus shot on Friday and have a big lump on my arm and it's sore and itchy still.  Today we have to spend the entire day learning and testing for certification on CPR.  One more week of school.

Bob won't be home for another week yet.  He'll get in at about the same time as my break starts.

Hoping you are feeling better and we'll talk more later.

Kim
