Christmas Lights

which do you prefer all clear lights or the colorful ones?   I LOVE Christmas lights .... and I like both but there is something so warm and old fashion about having the multi-colored lights on your tree ... I LOVE IT!

I prefer the clear lights. The colored light for some reason has always been a turn off. I just dont like them. But with the clear lights. To me it just brightens up everything.

I prefer lights with color and lots of them. I also enjoy the blow up figures and the reindeer that you can put on your lawn. Our house looks like the one from Christmas Vacation.

It's the complete opposite for me.  The white lights always look cheap and tacky to me; I think colored lights make it look more lively.  A few white lights as an accent are good, but all white lights on a house bore me, especially if there's snow on the ground.

definitely color! white just isn't as fun.

i've seen elegant-themed trees with just white lights
that look beautiful, though. but i prefer colored ones
because all my other christmas decor is cute and colorful

There are several well decorated houses in my neighborhood.  I like to see the lights and the spirit that people get into.  I have not put up lights in the past few years but I might next year.

I love the soft look the colored lights give when the rest of the light are off in the house.

I like the colored lights.I think they are so pretty.My youngest daughter likes the clear lights.She says colored lights are too noisy.Whatever that means.To me the colored ones are a sign of christmas.

Hmmm I like colored blinking lights. They reflect the bleam on everything.

I like both - I mix the clear with the colored and it produces are really nice effect, especially on my tree.  I wrap the clear lights closer to the tree trunk, and put the colored ones further out on the branches.  Makes the whole tree seem to glow from the inside out.

The clear lights are a lot brighter, but the colorful ones are just more fun.  I prefer the colorful ones
