I like a rainy day when I am inside and know I don't have to go anywhere. It's a great time to take a nap or watch a lifetime movie. But I hate having to run out to my car in the rain and I don't mind driving in the rain but I don't love it.

I love a nice rain storm - as long as people don't get flooded. Rain reminds me of when I was a kid, my siblings & I would set on our front porch covered with blankets to help keep the mist or blowing rain off of us. We would laugh, talk & just have a good time. My daughter, when she was little was afraid of storms - I would pull the rocker to the window, rock her & sing to her & talk about the thunder (telling her the potato wagon had spilled - just like I was told as a kid) She is still afraid of storms at 35, but she remembers our times during storms when she was little & they are good memories for us both. I also remember being a kid & playing in the rain - seems now there are no rains without storms.     To this day - I love setting in my apartment & watching the rain or a good storm.

I like rain... When I don't have to be anywhere.  I hate going outside or going to work when it's rainy, because overcast skies make me very sleepy.  So I feel very unproductive and sluggish.  I love a good down-pour when I'm at home - I'll make a pot of tea, put on a movie, and snuggle up in my PJs    I usually get a little housework done, too.

I like the hard rain - hearing the sound on the roof.  Watching the rain bounce off the sidewalks.  Really like the storms where there is thunder and lightening to add to the excitement.  There's just something so energetic about those storms that makes me feel awake and alive.

Although with such storms, I don't wish for the bad elements - floods, tornado/hurricane destruction, lives lost, etc.


Rains I don't like are the dreary days where its just gray and misty.  Those days are more depressing.  I think on those days, either rain or don't rain - none of this wishy-washy stuff.

Yes sometimes I do like when it rains a lot but not when it constantly just keep raining. My reason for liking the rain is because I get to stay in and watch my favorite tv shows, listen to music, surf the web. Listening to the rain makes you feel relaxed, calm, and it makes you sleepy.

I don't like it when it keeps us from getting things done around the house that we need to do. Like last year we had to reroof this place but it took a long time because it kept raining and raining.

I LOVE the rain. My favorite times are when it is raining. I run outside and play, dance and act like a general fool. Ah, the good times.

Rain generally doesn't bother me, whether it's coming down hard or drizzling.  The only time it bugs me is if I had to drive in it and it's really coming down hard, because that makes the drive far more difficult and dangerous.

Depends on my mood...  Sometimes it's nice to stay inside and "play" with my husband when its raining.  Other times I just wanna get out the house.  And other times I like to sleep.
