I like rain when it's warm outside, not when it's 35 degrees like it was today.
Pouring rain isn't that great, a nice gentle rain in 60-70 degree weather is perfect though.

I love the rain....and snow.  Especially when I don't have to get out in it.  It's a good time to light some candles, make a big pot of homemade soup, some rolls, bread, etc.  I sleep very well when it's raining.  I remember living in a house with a metal roof, and I could here the rain.  It was so neat to sit in my warm cozy house with a mug of hot Peppermint tea, and listen to it rain.  It's raining here as I write this.

Some rain is ok. A lot of rain just creates a mess and makes life difficult. Many people work outdoors and don't get to sit in front of a fire with a good book and a cup of coffee.
