2011 Baseball Opening Day is today

Anyone watching or going to any games, I will be listening at work, but My brother took the day off so that he can be home to watch the game.

Good luck to all your teams today. . . unless your a Tigers fan. . .  lol

So glad baseball is back!  Not only because I love the game, but because it's symbolic in that really nice weather is just around the corner.  I can't wait for this cold weather to go away for good.

I'm listening to the Yankees/Tigers game all afternoon on the radio, too.  Go Yankees!

Who isnt a yankee fan now a days, too many band wagon fans out there.

For me i am a Tigers fan, that game today wasnt bad. Which the tigers should have won that game anyways, but thats the first game of many.

There is alot of other teams that are worst then the tigers. No one will know how good or bad they will be. I don`t really pay attention to baseball intill hockey is over.

I've been a Yankees fan since I was like 6 years old.  I'm 31 now, so I'm not one of those bandwagon fans.  I can remember some really bad years as a kid, and the stadium really being like a ghost town in the mid to late 80s and early part of the 90s.

Since moving to Michigan several years ago, I root for the Tigers to do well... but only when they aren't playing the Yankees.  It's fun ribbing my wife when they are struggling, though. :P

In terms of teams being worse than the Tigers, you better believe it.  If the Tigers finish any worse than 3rd in their division this year, the season will be a disaster.  If they finish worse than Cleveland or Kansas City, Leyland and Dombrowski will join the other Michiganders in the unemployment line.  Heck, they still might if they don't win at least the Wild Card.

I don't watch baseball. (don't tell me not to post if I don't have anything to say good about baseball; it's just that it is not popular where I'm from)

Yep, the start of a new season is symbolic in so many ways. That said, wasn't the Reds' comeback win last night incredible? :D
