cateyes you may not understand the big deal about Oprah because she may not have touched your life in a way she has others.  Those who were abused needed her example.  Those who were hurting needed her advise and guests who had been there.  Those who needed to see hero of all ages needed the Oprah show.  Those who needed to have their AHA moment needed Oprah.  I got alot from her because she helped me grow and move out of the abuse relationship I was experiencing from my ex-husband.  I owe her my life and my undying love, she helped me see not all men were bad so I would be able to try again and experience the last 5 years with a man who spoils me rotten,  you may not get her but a great deal of the world did.

Although a lot of times I found some of her shows boring (guess I didn't relate to the topic) overall I really admire Oprah.   I will say that she puts her money where her mouth is and had done a lot to try to make the world a better place.  I remember watching her when I was kid growing up in Baltimore where she was a news anchor and also hosted a morning talk show there before moving to Chicago.  Who would have thought she would have been this big.

Nori I know she has helped alot of people and she has touched me at times. all i'm saying is it's no biggie to me if she's gone...i'm glad you got out of that abusive relationship, I was in one myself and got out of it...just my opinion.

Now, I hope Wendy Williams will be next to leave. Her and the music that they play on her show is so annoying. I think she is beautiful at least :)

I liked her but rarely watched her show.  I did watch all the shows this week and they were very moving.

The cult leader(snickers) has left the talk show scene to draw everyone to her own cable channel  :BangHead: She denies Christ...

Goodbye to the Oprah Show. I know deep in my heart this is only a break. She will be back soon with a stronger and better show. You will see!
