I just saw that on the TV. She is now going to own the "OWN" Opra Winfrey Network. I don't doubt that she or someone she sponsors will have a show on that network. She will probably show up periodically on her network.

She started her show in the year that I was born.  Now that's freaky.

I didn't watch her last show and maybe watched a half dozen times the entire time she was on the air. I didn't even know her show was still on.

Almost each day I would rush home from work and watch Oprah.  Then after I retired I though now I can just sit back and watch her program then she was show her final season.  She has brought so much to the viewers and who will be able to replace her.

Who was on the show?  I was working I couldn't watch it.

I watched her final show in it's entirety. There were no surprise guests, no hoopla, no nothing. Just Oprah thanking her staff, all of her viewers over the years, and her audience for their loyal support. It was just Oprah and it was great.

She did a retrospective on her show and on her life from its very beginning 25 years ago up to present time, and talked about how everything had evolved for her. She spoke of miracles and God.

Nearly everyone loves Oprah. The previous poster is apparently one exception and I'm sure there are a small number of others. They are in the minority and they are entitled to their opinion.

In my humble opinion, she is surrounded by and demonstrates the power of Love by example. She is a great soul. I agree with what Madonna said about her on the Monday edition: "Of all LIVING women in the world today, who are my role models? There is only one, and it is you, Oprah." She is my one and only also. You will be able to see reruns of her show on the her cable network, OWN. :peace:

I sincerely apologize if you took offense with what I said in my previous post. I meant no offense toward you or anyone else. It was only my opinion. We are each entitled to our opinion, aren't we? Free speech and all that? Nothing I said was intended as a personal attack on anyone. We will simply have to agree to disagree. I am not going to defend my stance on Oprah. It is simply the way I feel. If you do not feel the same, that is certainly your right.  :peace:

I expected a big ending but it was a little boring for me.  I liked the show but honestly I don't watch that much tv.  She had a good show and think she helped a lot of people.  I don't get the OWN network so ... I guess that is the last I see of her.... or so she says  ::) .... but really I will miss the show.

I glad to know she will be doing bigger and  better things.   To know her is to love her.  One thing about the Oprah show is that, if the show did not help you it helped someone you know.
