I have seen the posts your talking about...several in fact.  They click on "quote"...scroll down and click on "post" without adding any comments or remarks of their own.

I trust that FC will manage the issue as they see fit.  We are expected to submit examples of our posts to prove that they are qualifying posts for the $3 credit.  If there are members out there that do only a few posts to use in their examples they submit, then they are taking a big chance in whether they get the credit or not.

I understand your issue with "cheaters" and if FC likes your suggestion to create a thread where "cheaters" can be reported, and if FC wants the help of other members in tracking who makes legitimate posts according to the rules, I am sure they will do just that.  I can see where reporting members suspected of cheating to create a red flag to help FC monitor this issue may be helpful, but that also opens up a door for other members to start wars with someone that they don't see eye to eye with or whatever.  It is possible that those who are doing this just don't know how to use the system properly or are just not very skilled in the use of computers.  Maybe they also have 30 legitimate posts in addition to the "cheating" or error posts they make.  ???

My guess is that in addition to the 3 example posts we submit for the bonus they also read most of our other posts to verify we are following the rules and doing what is expected. There is a reason it takes so much time to get the credit...I bet it is because they are using that time to look at our posts to be sure they are valid.

Personally, my conscience would not allow me to submit for my bonus if any of those 30 posts were "cheating" posts.  If I am going to take the time to do the work for the bonus, I want to be sure I get the credit.

Just my opinion.

considering the fact that administrators from time to time reply to some of the posts, including those made in the middle of a thread, it appears that yes, they do read these from time to time.  Even if it's not every week.  Also, they don't just give you the three dollars as soon as  you put your request in!  There's quite a wait - which could also give them time necessary to review things.  And if I'm wrong on this so be it.  But I think if I were running this place and giving members three dollars each a month to contribute decent posts, I would be checking them from time to time!  Especially since this is bonus money.

Yes, I did. My question is: why not let the FC staff police the posting, Cuppycake?

You seem very adamant about this issue. I did not mean to get you riled up. Sorry. I just don't understand why you're so up in arms about it.

I'll just mind my own business. I don't want to start an argument. Life's too short. This is my last post on this subject.  :peace:

Because I am sick of seeing "posts" that are only quotes of of what people are saying. This NEVER happened before paid to post. It is annoying to me to see it because I know that they are ONLY doing that to have a "qualified" post for the paid to post. Assuming that Fusioncash does in fact review the posts they would only be reviewing the 3 submitted posts no the total content. It would only take 3 actual posts by these cheaters to get paid for the posts. Obviously they are getting the bonus if they are continuing to make these fraudulent posts. Why are you so against a cheaters section any way ?

Here is an idea. Stop venting to the rest of us about it. If you truly believe that FC is unaware of this issue and you want them to look into it, then FILE A SUPPORT TICKET.  :BangHead:
I have a an idea for you lol ! How about you stop constantly editing your posts ! It makes you look very wishy-washy and and quite silly !  And if my thread bothers you soo much you need to ":BangHead:" then perhaps you should stop reading it as often as you edit your posts!

I sure hope that FC doesn't stop the paid to post because of all this arguing about it. If FC thinks there is a problem they will deal with it. So just do your posts and don't worry about what anyone else does. You don't have to read the posts if you don't want, just scroll past those ones. I really don't see why anyone would get so worked up about this issue that they have to argue. Everyone has their own opinion, if you don't agree with someone's opinion, then just ignore it.

Administrator,

Please weigh in on this issue. Personally, I do not believe it is either constructive or helpful to criticize the quality or validity of another member's posts. In my opinion, it is not our place. Checking members' posts should be handled by the FC staff. I apologize if I have upset anyone with any of my posts. It was certainly not my intent, but I do defend my right to have an opinion without being attacked for doing so.

Here are the questions at hand.

(1) Does FC review all posts before issuing the $3/mo forum posting bonus?

(2) Should we police the forum as Cuppycake seems to be suggesting or should we leave it to the FC staff?

I appreciate any input from the Administrator. Thank you.

We do have spammers who come in here and break the rules. They come in and post their up and coming website, and we should follow them and make more money outside Fusion Cash, etc. Totally against Fusion Cash policy.

I don't believe they read every post, but are pretty good at spotting someone playing the system. This is a good site, and we want it to stay that way. It's okay for Cuppycake to notice something that seems unfair or wrong, and say something about it. This is a public forum and anyone can post what they want or think, within the Fusion Cash rules.

I agree, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.  I can't imagine FC would see this issue as arguing about it just because someone posts an opinion that many do not agree with. Nor can I imagine they would nix the paid to post bonus because people are voicing their opinions.  At least I sure hope not. I enjoy the forum, and the bonus for posting in it.  That's the nice thing about FC having a forum, unlike the other sites, and a forum is for posting just about anything (appropriate)..it encourages participation, and in the forums we learn from each other, especially about offers and such..and those offers we learn about in our discussions with each other helps boost the money FC makes, and in turn, the money we make.  And all the various topics we can discuss just helps to foster the "community" we are all members of.
The forums have helped keep me active (as well as entertained) on this site.
Thanks FC.

Well, I'm relatively new here and have seen some of the posts Cuppycake is talking about.  It's unfair to those people who do submit real posts, and not just quote something to get to the 30 per month.  They're taking up space in threads, and not contributing.  I'd say the best way to handle them is to report their posts, and let the moderators take care of it.  Quite frankly, it's a distraction and a nuisance.

Maybe you could apply for the job, I am sure FC knows what they are doing with the Forum bonus, I think if it bothered me as much as it seems to you, I might spend less time reading them. Just saying....

No, that bit of sarcasm was not well said.

As cuppycake was saying, there was nothing to read, they were just taking someone's posting, copying it, and putting it under their own ID, as if it were their post. It would be irritating to me also if I saw someone doing that with my posts.

If it's against Fusion Cash rules (and it is), then anyone has a right to voice their displeasure and unfairness about it, without getting a bunch of flack for doing so. It's surprising how some in this thread jumped on her for just voicing her opinion. Read the whole thread before commenting. Ask yourself how would you feel if this was happening to you?

i don't think i've seen too much of this copy/paste quote stuff, but i can say who really cares?!

i'm sure they're new members that probably find it hard to make 30 posts. especially when they really don't know much about the site.

I do report the posts! I don't let that slide at all. Obviously though there are many here that think it is perfectly acceptable behavior. It does make me question the character of the people that condone that activity.
